PR Card Overseas Delievry query

Hi All,

Quick question for you all.

"Can I deliever PR card overseas through mail, courier, express post? "

One of my buddy did not get PR card from Embassy yet and he is travelling to States after couple of days. I think I will have to deliver his PR card to States as he must need to cpme back to Canada.

If anyone have answer or legal solution, reply back asap.

There is no legal reason why a private individual cannot mail a PR card anywhere outside of the country people do it all the time following a short landing where they get a resident friend to forward.

Sometimes, CIC will require the PR to pick up the card in person, at their local CIC office. No idea how CIC decides who gets the pleasure of doing that.

Checked with CIC and they said it has been delivered since June 29, 2016 but I think we did not get because of Canada Post strike. CIC does not have and they just raised hand upon this.
