Congrats! Depending on where you'll be doing your landing, you should hear from them within the next two weeks. My application was approved at Calgary IRCC and then transferred to my secondary VO which was Yellowknife, Northwest. So, I received an email from Yellowknife IRCC 2 weeks after my application got approved. If you do not hear back from them by July 1st, ca

Be patient and calm, you'll get it soon. With Calgary IRCC, alot of applications exceed the 6 months standard processing time. My application was processed at Calgary IRCC; it took 9 months before I finally received an invitation for PR interview.
My AOR was July 26, 2018
Passed Medicals and Criminality August 26, 2018
Eligibility passed October 2018
Security took forever. I received PPR email April 4, 2019
COPR April 12, 2019
PR Card May 2019.
So, don't lose hope. You can always request for GCMS note to see where your application is at.
Hi. Do you have any idea when did they're done with your background check? May I know how many dependent you have? Thanks.

I do not have any dependents. Usually, background check takes 3-6months. Sometimes, it takes less time than that and sometimes, it takes up to a year. Many factors are usually taken into consideration during BGC. Example, a candidate's BGC could take longer if he or she is from a high-risk country, has worked in a military, held political/top government positions etc. I have no dependents but when I applied, my security/background check took about 6 months. Apparently, my application was sent in for security screening based on the information displayed on my CBSA/GCMS notes

Hi all my friends here, how are you doing?
I just got my GCMS notes couple days ago and after some research online, it's likely i was chosen for the so-called security screen, which started in the end of April.
I am not expecting PPR soon and try to put this aside.

Is your eligiblity clear? and security in process?

Yes.

And my GCMS notes like this

" In section titled ACTIVITY look at activity 1-5. If the first 3 or 4 activities are blank(it just mentions your name) followed by activity which mentions only Security, then its likely pointing to SS. "

So to take away the confusion, SS is part of security, everyone goes through it. The delay is when the application goes to CSIS from CBSA.
i would suggest you to order CBSA notes and then check the application is sent to CSIS or not. If it is with CBSA, it is normal and it takes 2-12 weeks

Really? I didn't know that.
Thanks for this information!
