Does anyone knows how long on average that it can take for me to get a final decision on my permanent resident application. I have my medical passed in August 2018 and since then no update to my application.

You can link it probably after 4-5 months

Hi All,
I applied for PR for me and my two kids that are here with me in Canada, and my other dependents are abroad,
I understand Covid-19 is one of the factors that delay many applications. is anyone in the same situation please share your experience

Permanent Residence Timeline

1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 3, 2019.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 5, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on September 4, 2019.
4. We sent you correspondence on February 5, 2020. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

I linked my application Jan 3,2021 was the timeframe according to IRCC- now it shows some applications take longer than usual
