Work permit renewal for Convention refugee

Congrats.is it 2 years validity? Did you attached the old medical? In case your protected person,Do you have have AOR for PR application?

Yes I attached old medical to my application. I applied when I was refugee claimant and approved after I became protected person( in January) no AOR yet.

Should I apply for renewal before 6 months expiration?

I wouldn’t recommend applying too early. I suspect the delay happened because I submitted my application five months before the expiration date. In my opinion, the ideal time to apply is about one month before it expires.

Just to clarify, this is based on my own experience and is just a suggestion — I’m not entirely sure if this applies to everyone.
