I have also submitted to Sydney visa office. Have you received your passport and COPR? How long did it take? please update your status.

For me it took 2 weeks.. I am sure you have received yours by now. Cheers.

CoPR is always by post. Thats why they require you to send a return envelope with your photos and passport. CIC returns the physical CoPR paperwork you need to land as a PR.. as well as your passport if you were required to send that in for a visa.

I hope someone could help me please. I got PPR email, since my passport expires soon (less than 3 months) I got a new one, Should I send the copy of both passports (old and new) to Ottawa? or only the new one? Thanks a lot!

Just your new one. You’re sending it in to have a visa put into it. I’m not sure if you will need to contact them about having a new passport tho, as it’s the old one that is recorded in your PR app? Maybe someone else can shed light on that..?

My passport shows delivered on 8th December, no updates till now waiting for a status change or return tracker activate. Any ideas how long cic is taking these days? Sending passports always makes me nervous

For PPR Approved I received an email from MyCIC saying that my application had been updated. I logged in and my PR Application status had changed to 'Approved'. For CoPR Delivery, that was the date I received the CoPR paperwork in my letterbox.

Hello Everyone,
I submitted my Express Entry (CEC) application on Nov 13, 2017 and received an email on Jan 09, 2018 asking me to send passport, photos, Annex A form and a return envelope to CPC-Ottawa. I sent all the documents in and were delivered on Jan 11, 2018. Do you know what I should expect next and how long it takes for the passport to be returned back to me. However, a week after I submitted the PR application, the only status change I received on the online portal is that I passed medical exam. Nothing else changed, even when I received the email requesting for passport.

Hello Everyone,

I submitted my passport and other docs for COPR about a week ago. Does anyone know what the processing time looks like from PPR to COPR? I've seen a few that took about 3 days. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Sent passport to canada: Mar 8
Main Applicant (my Mom): was already on canada and was interviewed. She received copr on April 2
Dependents (me, brother, Dad): no update yet on Copr
