What is the format for bank statement? What points should it cover?
Also, my previous employer gave me ref letter without salary details and benefits. Where should I upload my joining letter and compensation letter for filling up the gaps.?

As for the Bank Statement, it should be on the bank's letterhead, contain information about your checking/savings accounts current balance and average balance for 6 months, and credit cards/loans, if any: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...nada/express-entry/documents/proof-funds.html

For the employment proof, I'd scan everything you have in a single PDF file and upload it as one doc.

Hi everyone!
I have experience of 5 years. I have got reference letter from my employer and I have cheques for past 1 year only to show salary proof as I was getting paid in cash for the past 4 years by the same company. I also have income tax return for past 1 year.

So, my question is -
Do I need to add LOE to tell CIC that I was getting paid in cash in first four years, so I won't be able to generate payslips or it isn't required?

After I received ITA, I just realized that I made a stupid typo mistake. :(

I put the wrong Date ECA report issued in my Express Entry profile. I did ECA with WES for both master and bachelor degrees. While I put the correct Date ECA report issued for my bachelor (9 May 2019), I put the wrong date for my master degree (9 April 2019).

Can I update the correct Date in my PR application and write a Letter of Explanation to explain the typo?

Is there anyone dealt with a similar incident?

Can anyone please help me? :( I’m so worried!

Thank you very much! :)

I didn't get what you are saying. Is the date wrongly mentioned in your WES report? Or you are talking about the details you filled for express entry profile?

I accidentally filled the wrong ECA date in my EE profile. The actual date on the ECA report is 9 May, but I typed it as 9 April. :(

Now I received ITA and my EE profile is locked.

Can I update the actual correct ECA date on my PR application?

I think you can change it. It should not be a problem as it is not a governing factor giving you any points. Mention in LOE if you are worried about it. Ask others also just for assurance. But I am giving you correct information as per my knowledge. Good luck

Change it in PR profile. Attach WES evaluation to education documents. Mention error in LOE.

Hi all!

Have all the docs ready, but can't find a place to make a digital photo in the US.

Been to CVS, Walgreens, Stapes, AAA: 'sorry, we can't give you digital photo, we can only print'.
Any ideas/suggestions? Would scanning ruin the photo quality and make it unacceptable for Canada?

Does Canada accept imaged made via the 'passport photo' apps? They also seem to be of pretty low quality. Some of the docs also said that the photo must be taken by a professional photographer, so it means that they can notice the fake white background made via app.
What's your experience with photos?

I went to photo shop in my area, fremont CA and they said they can email me the photo for $10. I don’t know about rest of the US.

Was it CVS or some independent photo shop? Two years ago CVS sent me the photos digitally (for the GC lottery), this time they refused.

It was an independent shop, you can try asking the photographer to send you the photo over email by taking extra charges. In India, I used to get the photos emailed for free :p

In Russia when you come to a photo place, they have all specs for all kinds of visas immediately, charge only for printing and of course they do send by email for free. And there are dozens or hundreds of these photo places in every city. One of the few things in Russia that are convenient:)
