Just outta curiosity, how did you know your background check had been completed after the first ghost update?
I've only had the one ghost update (which I presume is due to my medical expiring).
So I called cic today, and they told me they can’t not give me specific time phase for my medical extension request. Also they do not ready for working on the request. Everything is unknown and all I can do it waiting. I’m Nov 2017 applicant and ppl around me who are 2018 applicants has got their PPR and landed already. I mean am I the only one suffering this frustrating moment?

I am Oct, 23 2017, meaning my application is over 20 months.
I haven’t heard anything since and I am here also frustrated but keeping hope alive. There are another who are June and July 2017 too who haven’t got PPR.
I guess it is security check on our case taking time. Whatever the case is we must have faith.

base on the agent. Yes. But every time they have different time line for my medical extension request
In my gc keys yes, but the agent said my bg check has been passed already. Every thing has been done and just waiting for the medical
Same here dec 7 applicant still waiting for extension everything passed on 14th may 2019
