I have already got an extension on it. and I don't think I will get another one. I won't be surprised if they ask me to do another one soon .

Thank you so much for your kind answer and advice. I will request a GCMS note if I found a Canadian. As far as I understood their regulation, I thought I am only able to do so if I am with a Canadian citizen. Also, my processing time is still showing a month left for the finalization. So, I will do if it takes longer than what the maximum time they posted. I am already in an implied status so still OK. I can’t complain too much for now since I have seen a lot of people who applied before me are still waiting. Anyway, they recently requested additional documents from me, so I better give them some time before I bother them. One more time, thanks millions for your helpful information. Blessings,

After a year i just got my medical request
June 12,2019, everytime i ask cic , thay are just asking me to wait , nothing more specific , like security checks status, aside from my online account , how will i check if they are atleast done with my security/criminal check ? I wonder if after medical i’m gonna have to wait forever again

GCMS is the name of the system IRCC uses , everything they have done for your application is logged on it .

hi buddy, My security check due day is passed, I called CIC and there is a lady help me send a request to OFFICER, may be they will send back information about why is delay? the agent told me eveything looks fine.but security check in processing since May 14th.
