i sent on 11th Feb and received by cic on 12th Feb

No update in MyCiC

If u havent already crossed the border, the best choice is to see the validity of ur single entry pr visa when u get copr..if it is valid for the duration of ur travel,there is nothing to worry..just go right away and u can do landing when u return..

In all other cases,

It takes 42 days +mailing time for the card now..if u cant wait that long,just arrange somebody to send ur card by secured post or in person to wherever you are..so that u can return easily..otherwise u can request for a travel document from the embassy in your country if the trip is very urgent..u have options to make pr card processing faster by claiming about ur trip plans, but cant always trust..

Yeah My work permit is valid until June 2016. And I have Multiple Entry Visa. I am planning to for 2 months- March to May 1st week.
So I can get the Copr and Go to India then come back and Land right?
My spouse is here ; I am the PA. Can he land alone?

Sometimes you receive a ghost email that your application has been updated. Otherwise check myCIC every other day. But you can expect that it will be approved within next 7-10 post passport submission.

Yes, you can go to India with CoPR and land on return.
PA has to land first.

You will only get update once your application is near approval which you can expect within 1-2 weeks.

In most cases its got to be valid for 6 months but i have seen a few requiring 12 months too. I guess it depends on your country of origin/nationality.

We have similar timeline, my passport received Ottawa on Feb. 10th, Nothing else yet.
