PASSPORTS TO CPC-OTTAWA IN Feb 2016

I think Cic stamps the passport in batch. I haven't seen anybody's tracker getting activated after getting 'application approved' email after Jan 29. So my guess is that they haven't touched passports after jan 29.

We all should get approved status in the same day. Also our tracker should get activated around same time.

Checked my status now on the portal...shows "Approved" on application status. No update on the second page yet. Believing that reflects today.

Sure, I sent it on the 8th and it arrived on the 10th.

That is so great. I also sent on Feb 8th and it arrived on Feb. 10th, but no news after that

How long does it usually take them to send the passports back from Ottawa?

Can someone give me some idea? Is it 2 days or 2 months?

Like I anticipated earlier, just checked my profile it says "Application status Closed" "Final decision - This application has been approved".
No email yet though. No tracker activated yet as well.

some of you guys got the approval pretty quick. From what I have read it takes like 10 working days.
I sent my passport of Feb 1 and it was received in Ottawa on Feb 3rd. No updates yet. MYCiC account still shows in progress for Eligibility and Background.

I sent my passport just yesterday. I live way up in North. for landing, i will have to either fly to a nearest border crossing or will have to do it at local VO.

I was thinking of booking my flight by the end of february but looking at the trend here, I doubt if I'll get my PP back till then. Lady in the local VO is on vacation till March (not sure about dates),so Im stuck with waiting for the passport to be delievered and then think of something further.

any suggestions will be appreciated.

Once we complete the landing I can go to India for my vacation right? Or do I need to wait for anything else?
