Anyone recently went to coutts border over weekend or stat holiday?

What are opening hours for immigration services?

Is it okay to go on evening?

Thanks in advance?

I landed at. Coutts yesterday (Saturday). It was really fast, waited on US side for 5 minutes, went on canadian side and waited just 15 minutes until officer was done with our paperwork and congratulated us on becoming permanent residents. You can go anytime between 8am and 11pm.

Hi all,

I am an applicant from inland, paper-based, PNP program, and do I need to show proof of funds when I go for landing?
If yes, how much should I carry?
And should I present current balance amount from my Canadian bank?

Can anyone already landed or know this clearly, please help?

Hi,

The answer is no.
You don’t need to present your money or bank accounts. If they require it then just show your Bank account application with mobile phone.

You must present your work permit, passport and COPR. That’s all you need to show officer. Then officer takes your work permit and give you one of copr paper.

Good luck

Oh awesome! Thanks!

Because I read Provicial Nominee instruction, it states "
Either way you choose, you’ll need to present:

  • your COPR and/or your permanent resident visa
  • your passport
  • proof that you have the funds to support yourself and your family"

Also in addition to call them, GCMS is also a good tool to know more detail about your file.
Few people in my Dec AOR group called them recently and was told that their application might take up to 8-9 months to be completed. However we are not sure if they just said this to prevent people from repeatedly or not. I hope you get your PPR soon.
Thank you so much for the insights. When is it advisable to fill in the GCMS?
