It feels so nice to see the increasing numbers of "green" rows on our spreadsheet! :)
While I'm waiting for mine to turn green as well, I'm green with envy watching other's :o

@ Habib manzoor
If your LVO is Isb your file will most probably 99.99% go to ISB.
That is the only unfortunate LVO which got 100 % cases .None parental case end up to Ottawa.Apparently they need more detailed info from us >:(.Moreover they haven't issued any PR so far to first batch. They let the parent's meds expired and didn't issue any PR to previous cases.
They should be working fast and not creating a backlog again.God knows what their plans are.

Same for Singapore LVO !!!

Thanks for sharing it, most probably same thing it will happen with my case too.
How long took Ottawa to send the request for passports after you told them your parents were in home country?
Thank you!
They never asked me where my parents are just ppr

Thankgod its back :).... it was getting on my nerves..started having bad thoughts ::)

It is so good to hear good news from so many people. I also have good news to share that I have received request for submitting passport in India. I have following questions:

1. Photograph specifications: Can somebody send the correct link for photograph specifications. CIC, India link and VFS, India link have different specifications.

2. Can my relative submit passport of my parents to VFS? Do they need to give any authorization letter?

3. Does VFS send back passport my mail? If yes, by regular mail or registerd mail or courier. I don't want to pick up passport but want them to send to us by mail.

4. Anybody have experience in sending passport to consultate instead of VFS. Do they get passport back within 30 days?

Hmmmm... Email from Seattle requests for the original FBI letters to be sent to them.
The Channels provides PDF-files only... not sure Seattle will consider printed PDF-file as "original letter".
You can request fbi through mail i think its approved by fbi and valid world wide no need to worry

A trusted friend, relative, or agent may send, through the secure means outlined above, from within India, their passport to our office on their behalf. However, please note that it is the applicant's responsibility to send the passports to our office in adherence with international law and within the deadline which we have given for such submission.

This is a quote from the letter one forum members received from Delhi Consulate

I do not think VFS send back passports by mail

Yea, but as they said - cannot mail or courier so that's whats conflicting
btw, what did you write to them - simply they are here or inquiring where the PPR will be asked

Inidan law prohibits sending and receiving of Indian passport commercially. So, your parents will have to fly back to India for visa stamping when PPR comes.

I informed that my parents are here in Canada as a visitor for 6 months. My email subject was "Update on Applicant's travel". I did not mention anything about PPR or inquired about the application status.
