Pakistani Applicants for Express Entry, Let's Network Here

  1. It can take 6-12 months easily or sometimes even more, hard to predict.

  2. Shouldn’t cause a problem- just let the doctor know. However better not to if you can, as it may show blood in the urine test so they may ask you to repeat it.

  3. Unpredictable and dependent on where you are applying from, how many countries you’ve visited and how long they take to respond to IRCC. Anywhere from 6 month to even upto 2 years. Unfortunately nothing you can do to expedite it.

  4. Yes you should mention them if you have stayed at these addresses in the past 10 years or since the age of 18, which ever is requested. If not, then nothing to worry about. As long as you have a Rawalpindi address on CNIC and you’re still living there, you can get the PCC from there.

  5. Only sharing what my lawyer advised me since they have had several cases referred to them from Pakistan with prolonged security clearance compared to other countries. It even varies whether you apply from UAE or US or Pakistan. But my responsibility was to share what I have learnt from my legal representative.

  6. But it's been a well observed fact that applicants from certain countries are more prone to end up in extensive security screening such as Pakistan

  7. Yup. Second that.
By the way, I have a question, if you can kindly advise.
Does a remedical request mean that the SS is over? I am getting conflicting responses when I go through the forums from yay! you’re close to the PR to nah! doesn’t mean anything - may be usual protocol.
Any observed pattern from time between remeds and PR?
    Thanks!

  8. Can't say what the average time is but I've seen few people getting PPR in 5 Days to 2 months after remedicals

  9. Thanks! Appreciate the help!

  10. When did your security screening start?

  11. In March 2018.

  12. Nope. Best of luck, mate. Personally, I feel January will be slow due to the holiday backlog. Fingers crossed. Do share if you hear anything and I will do the same.

  13. Yup. December 19th.

  14. Hi all, I Got PPT request on January 2, They asked me to provide two (2) recent photographs along with passports. Any idea where I can take the pictures in Islamabad region. thank you
