I didn't get any response yet. Still waiting for my reply. Yesterday my wife was Travelling to Toronto, Canada on Study Permit. I want to Fly with her. I have submitted all the required document in my file. but don't know what happened?

Approval or Rejection. Fingers Crossed.

Hi Guys!

I know how it feels when we are waiting to know the status update/getting the first response from CIC on our OWP/WP application. It definitely varies from case to case but what I've seen so far in this year is it approximately takes somewhere close to 2 months to get the first response from CIC if you have submitted your medicals before hand or you don't require a medical certificate.

The pity thing is, you won't be able to call/email/fax CIC India and get an update. So the best thing to do is be patient and hope for the best.

Hello members

I did medical of my wife from a CIC authorize panel, I was planning to apply for her OWP but now I decided to apply for TRV not OWP

While I try to open a profile for my wife online, they ask me if medical was done in last 12 months

What answer shall I chose for TRV

1)If I chose YES, will they think why medical was done? May be VO will think that she has other intention?
2)If I chose NO, will it indicate misrepresentation of information?

Please help

Anyone who applied for Open Work Permit Outside Canada in November 2014, Get updates? My wife applied on 5th November, 2014 for Open Work Permit and still no updates. she submitted up front medical report along with the application. I am not sure about the processing time so please update the time line.

Hi Guys!

I applied for OWP. My wife is studying in Canada. I applied 24th November and CIC received 25th. No response yet but am positive. Applied online in Lagos Nigeria.
