Ontario Nomination Acceptance of 600 Points and - Declining Invitation to apply:

PLEASE GUIDE ME

I am currently on vacation in Australia, with my 60days deadline approaching, I am not ready with my documents to submit, pending medicals, If I decline my invitation will I loose my Provincial Nomination & additional 600 Points from my Express Entry Profile? Is it safe to do so?

I just want to decline and wait for next draw, but I am not sure will I still have nomination 600 points in my profile to get selected in next draw?

You can safely decline your ITA. Your points will stay as such. You can wait for the next draw and accept that ITA.

Good luck!

As a "Legal Name Change Doc."(because of marriage) is it enough to upload just marriage certificate or letter of explanation also needs?

Asking because (i) says ... "You indicated you have another name. You must provide information on the use of this other name (such as a letter of explanation, legal documents of a name change, etc)"

It is not clear how much documentation is required here but in my opinion, a proof of name change or newspaper ad showing that the name was changed might be important here. Others may differ from this opinion but here's what I submitted for my wife: Newspaper ad showing official name change post-marriage, notarized affidavit from my wife stating that her birth name has changed to current name, notarized affidavit from her parents stating the exact same things plus a copy of my wife's birth certificate, only because I've mentioned the birth registration number in the affidavits. Hopefully that will be sufficient.

Hi rajkamal. Based on my timeline below in sig, can you tell me what to expect next? Is it ECAS access? And when can I expect it roughly? Any idea.

By the way, I have already prepaid RPRF so I won't get a request for that I think.

Its been only 8 days and added to the fact that you received your schedule 4 request, I think there is some movement in your application.

You'll receive your ECAS access shortly, may be in a week's time.

After this you'll see - "Medicals Received", ""Medicals Passed", "Background Check in Progress". DM and PPR will follow.

Thanks. Medicals already shows as Passed for me. Documents shows as Provided. Background check not yet started.

By the way, their 6 months time line/service level agreement that they claim.. When does the 6 months start? From post ITA appln submission?

There is no SLA. They "try" to process "most" application within 6 months. There is no guarantee.

Anyway, that time begins from when you get the AOR after submitting the application.

Good luck!

Has someone compressed pdf...with same clarity??? please guide

Did you try using cutepdf. There might be some clarity loss in all the compressed files but as long as the information on the document is clearly visible, you are good to go.

"The Express Entry six-month processing standard begins when an application is assessed as complete and is promoted in the Global Case Management System (GCMS). It ends when Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) makes a final decision on the application."

HELP please! I have all my documents to upload now. However, the word multiple beside some documents makes no sense. For my children passport/travel document, it says (multiple) Required BUT they have only one passport.

What do they mean?

Thanks

Don't worry... I think it's for people who have more than one passport for a person. Same thing with the Police Certificate.
Am I right, guys?

there is blurring of text but i think they can make out on observing it keenly

Rajkamal, what's the usual time people are waiting for schedule 4 request after submitting the appln? Did I get it faster than average (5 days) or is it same like everyone else?

Thanks Raj ... the pcc says it is for where I have been living for last three years, will it be acceptable by CIC or they will ask for all addresses.

Has anyone been in same situation? Does CIC reject any application basis the time period mentioned on pcc (three years in my case)

Also, can someone share template for bank reference letter for proof of funds please?
