I have been a silent member in this forum gaining a lot of knowledge from others experiences and wanted to request advice (for my PNP application).

We were unable to do complete medicals as my wife was pregnant in 2010. Now that we have had a baby, I communicated the change of status to New York (as my file was transferred from Buffalo to NYC early this year).

I received an email from NYC requesting the following documents and have queries on some of them -

1. Passport size pictures for the baby - Does this have to be the same as ones I sent earlier 35 x 45 mm or the regular 2 x 2 in?

2. Final examination result for the mother is requested. - Where do I request the doctor to send it? Ottawa or NYC?

3. Do I need to wait for documentation before doing the baby's medicals?

Finally, they have requested this documentation along with passport and birth certificate copy in 60 days. As you might be aware, I can only apply for the passport after receiving the birth certificate and each is currently taking 4 - 6 weeks for processing. Any advice on how to get an extension?

If someone with similar experience can advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

you can get birth certificate in person by visiting county office and apply for EXPEDITED SERVICE for passport which only takes 2-3 weeks

I didn't inform my attorney about my FSW application (I think only family change and address change require an update). We paid the attorney for AINP and we did FSW by ourselves. The medical expires on Sep. 15, 2011.

Thank you very much.

AlbertaGovernor said:
If you applied for CIC-PNP after you did apply for CIC-FSW, did you declare that you have an application with CIC for FSW? Were your medicals within the last 12 months and how long are they valid?

The answer to these questions will determine if you can refer to the FSW medicals.

Bibo,
Don't be disheartened. I am sure they will restart sending PPRs once they clear the current ones they have received over the past two weeks or so. At least that is how I will do it. Since you had your medical done around the same time frame, you won't be far away from getting the PPR. I certainly hope you get it i the coming weeks.

My wife completed her medical except X-ray in July 2010. After we had the baby(last week of Oct) , she went and did her X-ray(Nov 2010 before the reception of any letter from Buffalo), the Dr. sent it to Ottawa. We wrote to Buffalo, stating we did X-ray and send the baby's docs with the letter by 2nd/3rd week of Nov. We received his medical request in the first week of Dec.

We are near Dallas, we got birth certificate with in 5 days of his birth. We paid for expedited and overnight shipping and received passport within 1 week.

Search this forum with the keyword baby, pregnant, x-ray you will get all the information you need.

If you need more info, let me know.

Is anyone waiting for his/her passport return back from LA Office? As I'm in situation where LA Office received my passport beginning of Feb and haven't got it back yet. I emailed them & received response that they've received my passport, landing fees and photos.

Any idea how long will they take more?

Inputs are most appreciated.

Thanks,
