Thanks for the update. What difference does it make being in the 2017 pool vs being in 2018, would you know? Also, do you see it realistic to finish the whole application process in 2018, i.e. get ready for landing?
The difference between being in the 2017 pool vs 2018 is a month or 2. I think it's very realistic to land in 2018. I think PR in mid-2018 is a realistic goal for all of us.

Thanks Sundar.
But, as I have submitted my profile. And now I can not change any info. So if I want to add some extra fund, what will be the best possible way. I have my PF and some amount in my savings account.
How many are you including? are there any dependents?
If you are a single applicant , you are very much in a safe zone.

Else, you can add money in your account. When the officer come back asking for additional document you can then furnish the recent statement.

347 nominations left as of yesterday. Let's hope we all make it among those 347 (but if we don't, we should be getting nomination around January 2018):
http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_PROCESSINGTIMES.html
Correct me if am wrong on numbers.
There were 594 nominations left as on October10. After a month exactly (Nov10), assuming all the applicants gets nominated they processed around 250 applicants.

By Nov1-Nov7, judging from immitracker and various other threads there may be around 150 applicants max.
If all goes well, we all may get nominated before 2018.

Yes, if your wife is accompanying you it is perfectly legit to show her statements along with yours.

Thanks a lot sundar.

I was tensed cause I thought, they will reject my application after calculating the declared fund with respect to current rate as the rate is increasing day by day......

Guys, i need your advise on what to do.

I have uploaded all my documents on the OINP e-Filing Portal but not yet submitted due to the technical challenges the portal is facing. My NOI expires on 12 Nov which is exactly 6 months after i received it.

What do i do? I have already mailed OINP directly on ontarionominee@ontario.ca but i havent received any response yet.

Please let me know what you guys think i should do.

No problem.
Just be easy. since your wife is dependent you can include her statement and the combined total should be more than 15,312.

You can even avoid the complexity in your case. Just transfer her funds to yours and upload a single account statement.
A letter of explanation stating the reason for influx of amount would settle the case.

Hello everyone,

I´m in the same boat as all of you. I received a NOI june 29 (CRS 392, NOC 2171), but missed the previous registering window by a couple hours.

This time I haven´t missed it. Now I´m only waiting for the OINP Exclusive translations be done to submit my application, probably next tuesday.

BTW, with 347 nominations left for 2017 quota, some of us might just get lucky and be nominated still this year. Couldn´t have a better christmas gift than an ITA.

By the way, just checked the e-Filing Portal. Still down, except this time they´ve left a maintenance message, which means they may probably get it back up soon.

Good luck everyone!

Thanks for your in-depth opinion. Do you think including this new job would be mandatory in the ITA process? The new job title would not quite match what I already have in my OINP and EE profiles, as the country I'm considering uses old-fashioned terms e.g. instead of engineer they call it technician, etc. That might confuse some folks in Canada. Also, I read once that even after the ITA process has started one has to make sure that their PNP profile is up to date (because PNP points are used in CIC draws). Which means I would have to send letters to OINP (can't edit my profile anymore) and inform them about my new country, new job etc - yes, even after nomination. That is not something that would speed up my application process. Getting one more PCC is another complication, so I am starting to wonder if it's worth all that hassle.
If you are thinking of shifting to the new country in Feb 2018, I am assuming that you would have received OINP nomination by then, so your new job change would not effect the nomination bit. Again if you join the new company after receiving ITA, it would not effect your CIC process since your ITA was issued on the basis of your earlier EE profile and OINP nomination. Yes, it would be wise to send OINP an email informing them of the new job in the new country but it would not have any adverse effect on your application submitted with CIC as there is nothing wrong in changing jobs while PR application is in process. Both OINP and CIC will assess the application based on the work experience for which you had claimed CRS points so whatever designation / status you have in your new job position will again not affect your application in process.
As far as PCC is concerned, that you would have to provide for the current resident country anyways.

Ultimately its your decision. Whatever is suitable to your circumstances will be the best decision for you, we can only give our opinion on the immigration application processes but i understand there are many other things you would have to consider before making this big change.

Good luck.

I am in the same boat as you..Have mailed them this morning...
I still feel it is nothing to worry as we have already registered and have 14 days wait time to submit the documents .

follow this link

It says...
  • You must have received a Notification of Interest (NOI) from Ontario that is still valid in order to apply.
