@Ivylebrun the most stressful aspect is the time however i would suggest you double check everything b4 you resubmit your owp application. First ensure all the forms are up to date as they next ensure all the necessary forms are signed and that you have proof of pymt.

Hi,
Can you tell me please what does it mean “ decision made” on sponsorship application status, while my permanent status is in process
Also, they said that have sent correspondence about this decision on Jan.22
But the sponsor haven’t received any email about that. Is it normal?

If you want to cancel her as a representative, anyone who appointed her: sponsor, PA, dependents 18+ need to sign use of a representative form again filling parts A, C, D and sending those through their webform
About the GCKey linkage, I'm not sure if you can call CIC and ask them if they can revoke her access if she got cancelled as a representative, call them and ask if they can do so
you don't need to link your aplication online to know updates, my application isn't linked online and I check my updates through calling the CIC number and using the automated service and using ECAS
I feel it's best if you got rid of her she's making it harder on you guys and she's not helping, she just cares about your money and that's all
It's very saddening when I see representatives like this taking advantage of people, it's shameful, where's their integrity
If you submit the form to cancel the representative, then you can get linked to Gckey. When you try linking your account, it gives option of submitting form to cancel the representative. You don't need to even call cic. And, from that point on, everything will be sent to you which i honestly think is much better than lawyer having access.

That means a decision has been made, it is also a Sponsor Approval. Check your MyCiC account for the message or call and ask CIC if this was mailed to you.

What’s your timeline?

I got my RCMP fingerprint check result today, and uploaded it in CIC :)
I also had a physical copy sent directly from RCMP to CIC, but I uploaded my copy anyway as extra safety.

If anyone can answer does inland applicant's don't have to submit their passport (No PPR ) ?
Also i haven't applied for OWP would it make a difference in Background check ? Do i still have to go through background check process cause it's saying not applicable.

No PPR for inland applicants
OWP doesn't make a difference for anything, Everyone has to go through background check, your background status will change soon to " we are processing your background check"

No you shouldn't be worried at all, sometimes they start the background check but they don't update it in the system right away
Don't worry hopefully you'll see the change soon
Keep us updated :)

We didn’t have ours returned but we submitted it separately a month later to Edmonton. It was accepted and we could link it shortly after we got AOR. Can’t speak to timeline though for a resubmission, I assume it goes back into the queue?

Mine OWP was returned due to missed signature. I resend application to Edmonton and it was received on Jan 28th. About month later I was able to link. Still waiting on approval.
If you resend application it does go to the back of the queue... But I heard someone mentioned that wait is closer to 3 month instead of 4.... I will update my timeline once I get apptoval.
