Got my RPRF and Police Clearance Check request today, too!! :P

HI,

Does your police clearance part look like this?

"POLICE CERTIFICATES

If you have not already done so provide original police clearance certificates from all countries where you have lived six months or longer since turning 18, for you and all family members over 18. If you delay in sending in these police certificates your application will be delayed.

Please refer to our website, www.cic.gc.ca, for further instruction on how to obtain a police certificate."

same. i gave them my police clearance from my country, but not one from RCMP, i think they will get it from RCMP.

got the reminder email today to pay RPRF fee and also about all the other things. At least it's moving ... btw my friend who applied in September got her PR today :).

Hi everyone,

I am trying to put myCIC account information(email and password) to pay the fees of RPRF. But its not taking my email ID. My UCI no for PR is different than my study permit.
Is this the reason? should I put other email address? kindly suggest.

Thanks,
Tchow

Also if I want to newly register with the email address of my existing GCkey account, it says that the email address exists in database...I can login to my GCkey account with the credential, that means email and password are correct... but i cannot put same credential for my RPRF payment.kindly suggest.

Thanks,

Hi,

Did you receive 2 separate emails: one about Sch A and one about RPRF and anything else in the email are the same?

Yes I got two separate emails. I got that almost a month ago. probably they are doing it in a different way now. Like sending it all in one email to everybody so that it will be easier for them to review again.. I'm just assuming.. So don't worry guys. Its all good :)

Hello Lilcysel,

I remember that you and me we both sent police clearance after the application was sent. I received my RPRF email yesterday and it says about the 'Police clearance certificate'. I did double check with the office and they have received it my question is did you sent the police clearance from the RCMP fro Canada too or just from your home country?

Yea I hope so too. The Canadian Police verification should be handled by them..

Hi Rocky, Yes i do remember that and i did make sure they got my original police certificate. I sent just a police certificate from my home country. Unless they ask you, you don't need RCMP i believe. They didn't ask for police certificate( thank God) I'm sure they are sending same email to everybody these days so if you have sent everything you don't need to worry about it :) These are all my assumption though! And just to let you know I'm single applicant.

I completely agree with lilcysel...*fingers crossed*.. Unless I receive a separate email requesting Police Clearance Certificate, I don't plan on sending one from RCMP

Hi,

After you sent your PCC to CIO, how did you confirm with them that they have recieved it? And how long did it take for them to confirm it for you?

Thanks.

Hi SX8856,

I sent an email to them after I knew they got it. I had a tracking number so i was able to track my mail. I didn't get reply for like 10 days. And I sent another email subject like this "ORIGINAL Police Certificate". They replied me in two days that they received my documents :)

That is true, its all assumptions that why I didn't send the Canadian Police Certificate as well. I will wait for their request rather then just sending it. Yes I did see that a lot of people got the email so means they are processing it and yes I am a single applicant too so I hope they process it soon.. less clutter lol.. :)

Hey I sent them an email asking about the Police clearance if they have received it and they replied my the very next day. I was shocked with their quick response. Not even complete 24 hours. I never thought they would reply that fast. But yes wait for 4 weeks after you have sent you PCC and then email them and they should reply you back confirming if they received it or not.
