I noticed they have updated the date. it means its not a regular daliy update but more of batch update in fixed time.

Yes but info sharing had passed idk when exactly but when I called start of April it was passed already and background check on online tracker and ECAS showed not started. And criminality passed on 18th of April, they told me it was started from June 22 2022 :/ . After that ECAS and online tracker started showing background check in progress. Is it possible for security to be in progress but they see empty field so think its not started?

Today I used the helpline to get some updates, I noticed some interest changes. After it's said" We are viewing where you meet eligibility requirement. You do not need an interview. We do not need your fingerprint, we will send you a message if it changes. " After that, It becomes press 9 to reply, 0 to agent some word like that. It usually has that one " We are processing your bg check", but right now it's disappeared. I check on the track there was no change. so I give a call to speak with an agent, she told me the same thing 20 days ago another agent told me: eligibility was in process, security not started.
I get 100 percent confused..... Any idea????

It could be just a ghost update. It happens when they are processing your file and some underlying steps are completed. Dont worry

My nomination is tied to employer I just got laying off notice from next month my application is in last stage where just security is left and everything is passed and I’m trying to find a new employer but everyone is asking tons of money just to support my nomination I don’t know what should I do looks like every door of my life is closed my pgwp is expiring in oct 2024

background check includes criminality, info sharing and security.
My AR is Dec.21.2021 and AOR:Aug.03.2022,and based on ATIP records and also my phone call to IRCC today My Security, Eligibility and Medical not started yet, just Criminality and Info Sharing Passed, I received and update on new tracker like most of the application on my background to In Process, but it seems in a realistic nothing changed, I am really tired from IRCC regulation, near 17 months passed and there is noting happend,everythings holds in Inventory-SPR!
Oh guys.. just received my GCMS notes. They are really messing up with my application.
I provided upfront medicals, but they requested it again, then I submitted them twice through the webforms and called the agents and only one could locate them and leave a note for the agent. On GCMS note I can see how they communicated about my inquiry a week ago but still no news on my MP. The inquiry travelled to Montreal, while my RMO is Ottawa, and my file is being processed by Etobicoke and Sydney.
The best part is that now on my GCKEY it says that I haven't provided them with the medicals which makes me feel super anxious.
Lesson: DON'T DO UPFRONT MEDICALS.
Criminality: 9 out of 10 of my fingerprint were rejected by RCMP back in November-December due to poor quality and I still haven't received any request to get them re-done. Therefore criminality seems to be on hold.
Lesson: Read the tips on how to prepare your hands for the better quality fingerprints so they won't be rejected, and delay your application. Mine were too dry.
Info sharing seems to be partially complete since there are no fingerprints for the USA partner.
Security & Eligibility has not started yet.

They haven't requested it yet. But according to the other threads, that's what they do in such cases.
your nomination is tied to employer ???? You have PGWP !!!!. After a 1 year experience, you can file for CEC already.
- In this situation do not worry, let iRCC know once you are laid off via web form. By that time you might already have PR. Also they are accommodating in this scenario
I don’t have enough points for CEC Because I did only secondary education back home and came here and did 2 year diploma so CEC is not for me moreover I called IRCC today for the update on my file they said everything is done only security is left and it’s not started yet so with the strike ongoing I don’t think I’ll get my PR before June btw I already completed my 1 year experience in NOC B
