How do you guys know the SVO? Do I have to order GCMS notes for that purpose?

Another question that I am trying to use this tracker https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=ecas but it cannot find my application. I am able to track my application on https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login and the usual GCKey, however. So, is this a common problem?

Many applicants find out their SVO (Secondary Visa Office) by ordering GCMS notes, because the notes show which visa office is currently handling or assisting with the file. Sometimes people also learn it by calling IRCC or through a webform reply, but GCMS notes are the most reliable way. Regarding the eCAS tracker, it’s common that it cannot find newer PR applications, especially for online or newer streams, because IRCC is gradually replacing eCAS with the newer PR Tracker and GCKey systems. If your application appears correctly in the PR Tracker and GCKey, that usually means everything is fine; eCAS simply doesn’t work for many newer applications or may only start showing results later in the process.
