Hi 4131's
By the kind grace of Almighty after a long wait (11 months) since my second AOR from CHC, I have received my Medical request today........
Will appreciate sharing in the light of senior 4131's who have done their medical before.....
Specially how to track the medical report receipt supposedly sent by DMP..
Do I have to fill in any part of Med form section B-E?
Does anybody has experience of having in the sent Med form (IMM 1017) with advise to DMP as forwarding address of the med result to address other than Director, Immigration health service, Ottowa, Ontario?
Just wondering as iin my sent form its printed to be sent in CHC Singapore rather than Ottowa (regional health verification office)..... Any comment or suggestion why this could be?

Hi Hassaan;
My visa office is London as well, and I have applied 4th June 2008, medicals were done 14th July 2010 and still waiting for PPR, 5 months and nothing yet, I think the London office is quite slow compared to other offices where people get their medicals usually within 3-4 months. Any way still waiting, hope to get it soon Insha Allah, all the best to you as well. :D

I applied under the same NOC and its been 7 months that i have received my second AOR, still waiting.....Just worried will i get my medicals letter .

I sent my medical and proof of fund on 12-11-2010 and they received on 16-11-2010. In that case, they took around 14 days to send my PPR. I think it is the fastest case ever i've ever seen around. Mostly Singapore Visa Office takes around 2-3 months to send PPR after getting Medical from the applicants.

Hello dear friends
I have been waiting for 9 months since I received my second file number in March 2010 from Damascus office. Is anybody here with the same or nearly the same situation who has received medicals?
Thanks

Hi All,

I am very confused and totally new to these threads, never tried in the past. Hoping you all will help me in coping up.... Here is my situation...

i got first email on 24th June 2010 from Federal Skilled Worker Centralized Intake Office - Sydney, Nova Scotia stating they recvd my application and Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application is being recommended to the visa office for a final determination of eligibility for processing. I was given a file no. which started with B and followed by 9digits. They asked me to submit my full doc.s to VO - New Delhi within 120days (24th October 2010 roughly).

I got married on June 2nd, so wanted to add my wife as well to the process. Sent my complete doc.s along with my Wife's doc.s and marriage certificate to VO -ND, shipment was delivered to VO - ND on 16-10-2010 which is within the time limits they gave me. As i haven't heard back anything from them sent an email to 'Delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca' on 02-11-2010 asking if they did recieve my complete application as there was no change in the status on e-cas its forever was showing "Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) Eligibility Review Complete "

i recvd a reply from 're-delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca' on 10-Nov-2010 stating

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.
Your application as a Federal Skilled Worker, which was initially submitted to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia. The CIO recommended your application for further assessment at a visa office and sent you a letter requesting that you submit a complete application package to this office. We have now received your submission.

Our office has created a file for you with the file number: BXXXXXXXXX. Please note that this file number is different than the one that was assigned to you by the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. You must quote this file number in any future correspondence with our office.

Before your application can be placed in processing, our office will make a final determination as to whether or not you are eligible for processing. If your application is not eligible for processing, you will receive a letter informing you of the reasons for the determination as well as a refund.

If your application is determined to be eligible for processing, processing will begin on a priority basis.
Applications in the Federal Skilled Worker category require an average of 8 months to process at this office.

Once your application has been assessed, you will receive further instructions from this office. Please do not contact this office to request a status update unless 8 months have passed since you submitted your complete application.

Now i am pretty confused don't know wheteher to reply them back or hold as they gave me again the same file no. stating VO has creadted a new file for me....if someone can lemme know as to wats happening in my case i would be very thankful.... sorry for making this very lengthy but hoping all would understand this is my first post so wasn't sure how to present myself. Appreciate your valuable responses.....

they said they created a file not a file with a new number. In my case in Buffalo, i did get a new number, but when it came to checking my status online, both worked.

Perhaps someone from ND VO can suggest whether they do give out new numbers at the VO.

Thanks Maaties for such a quick response..... Here is the confusing part "Please note that this file number is different than the one that was assigned to you by the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. You must quote this file number in any future correspondence with our office"

do u think by mistake they put in the same BXXXXXX in the email response.

sorry, i didn't read that properly. They might have. I guess it doesn't hurt to email and ask.
you are not emailing about status update but about the file number so go ahead and email them. That is what i would do.
