Hello all,

I just found this forum and I'm really happy to see so many going through the ND office! It's much more helpful for me.

I'm a Canadian citizen and I'm sponsoring my husband in Nepal.

Here is our timeline:

Date filed: March 6 2012

Eligebility Met: May 31 2012

File Transfer/Medicals Received: June 10 2012

PP and RPRF Request: June 18 2012

PP and RPRF Received at ND VO: June 20 2012

And now nothing. Everyone else I've talked to says that once the passport is requested that it's only a matter of days or weeks. It's now been two months and we're getting worried. We haven't received any other requests, nothing for additional documents or interview.

Is this normal?

I've been back in Canada since Nov 2011, we are tired of hugging eachother through skype chat. haha

Hi there, welcome to the group! Unfortunately your wait could take a bit longer. It's normal to get the the passport back after 2 months or more. It's impossible to say for sure how long it will take but if your case is straightforward, it hopefully won't be much longer.

in case of new delhi VO, PPR is first step and interview is always after PPR but i hope there is no interview for your wife :)
best of luck :)

Hello friend thanks for your reply. Yes I m from Nepal n will be sending my family to pick the passport. I have one concern pls give me an idea. I am using a consultant who has offices both in Canada and in Nepal . My ecas stat shows my consultant address in Canada do I need to change that address to the one in Nepal or do I simply not worry about it because either way new Delhi will send pp back to consular office in Nepal and not to individuals mailing address. Any idea.
yes ND will send your passport to consular office in nepal and i think, office will send PP to your consultant address. there are some other applicants from nepal, you should contact them for exact answer. if you are not happy with your consultant, there is an option to remove them permanently :) and update your home address
good luck :)

Hey congrats buddy !!

Hi Friends i got my PPR today ......I have 2 doubts ..........Firstly , I am the principal applicant but my name is not mentioned anywhere on PPR , it is directed to my sponsor wife only ....Secondly , I am not able to find any details on ECAS using the info on PPR .......Can anybody explain something....??

Hi Friends,

Today i sent one letter via speed post to ND VO office for changing my address to my India address as it shows my lawyer's Canada address...

Do anyone has the ND VO email address to send the same address change notification, so that I can also send one copy via email for safety purpose and to avoid delays in process....

WHAT :o :o :o PPR is supposed to direct to applicant not sponsor and if its directed to sponsor, its not PPR ::) i think you have received sponsorship approval. is it from Mississauga/ottawa or ND?? and you received on sponsor's email address or applicant's??
