Received email from New Delhi office on Aug 17 asking to submit a few more documents:
1. Sponsors' full passport (even the blank pages) even though relevant pages of the passport have already been submitted.
2. Any photographs and visits after submitting the application.
3. And a few more documents that I believe have already been submitted with my application.
It appears that they are purposely trying to delay the PR.

Can they request for documents even after submitting the passport ?

1. they want Sponsor's full passport to check travel history, if sponsor is still inside Canada or not. (they do that, if sponsor is PR and VO has doubts about his/her current status, i mean living inside or outside canada because PR sponsors are supposed to stay inside canada for whole processing time except short trips of 2-3 weeks)
2. VO wants to confirm continuing relationship with sponsor after file submission. (VO has doubt about genuine relationship)
3. submit those docs again, they might have lost or want updated docs.
you should order GCMS notes now to know the reason for additional doc request and your VO's notes about your application.

Ab bhi yakin na aaaayaaa zalim tujko, jab ki humne to pura dil chir dala.....

They do not accept PP personaly. You are not allowed to visit ND VO unless called for an interview. You can send PP by DHL or Speed Post. Both are good.

Hello there yes they can request document after passport submission same happened to me as well and they gave me 2 months to submit the documents but I couriered the documents and did it in day's my documents reached Delhi office on aug 3 and am still waiting for the answer I wrote a cover letter stating to acknowledge me the receipt of documents but no body at Delhi office bothered to do a simple email that documents have been received I even contacted them through email and even faxed them to ask if the documents have been received but as usual no answer am completely depressed as I have been waiting for 9 months I ordered gems notes last month it say on them application approved request pprt or something and gcms notes had a line written at the end that am satisfied with the marriage the marriage is bonafied but still no Answer god only knows what's going on
