I check my profile and they say they need additional documents...yet i ve not received any email.
Have you received mail yet regarding additional docs? Or any kind of changes?
And for u, do u have any updates?

Been checking on the forums, the request for additional documents happens when you request for GCMS. First i was happy because i thought ,atleast someone touched my file, but its not the case.
Actually it does mean someone touched your file. You will see when the GCMS notes arrive. At times files lie untouched for a long period and the GCMS force someone to have a look at it
Thats good to hear. I ve been waiting for a long time for their decision. How was your experience with the Nairobi visa office?
During the time I thought they took long with my file but looking at other people's stories I think it actually went well. Be prepared to apply for GCMS notes every month to help push them along though
I will do that. I hope to get PPR soon.
I wrote to the High Commission and for the second time they responded with the same default email..

This office is responsible for the processing of:
Temporary resident visa (TRV) applications submitted by the Visa Application Centre in Kenya and Ethiopia and for the online submission of TRV from applicants located in Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan.
Permanent Resident (PR) applications from applicants located in Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan
If this is a request for case specific information the responsibility placed on us by the Privacy Act to protect all personal information precludes us from responding using e-mail unless we are able to verify that you are entitled/authorized to receive the case specific information.
If you are not the applicant or you are not authorized to receive the information, you will not receive a further reply to your e-mail. Please ensure adequate time has passed before making an enquiry. Please note that there are no same-day or walk-in services available at our office.
If you are the applicant, you must provide us with your:
Surname (Last name) - Exactly as it appears on passport or identity document;
Given name(s) (First name) - Exactly as it appears on passport or identity document;
Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD);
Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number / Passport number ; and
Application number (V#, F#, EP#, E#, B# G#).
If you are a person to whom we are authorized to release information (written consent on the immigration file) you must provide us with the same information pertaining to your client.
**If you do not provide us with this information, we will be unable to process your request**
Citizenship and Immigration Canada can only communicate with you in one of our two (2) official languages: English or French.
