May I ask if your accumulated time in the UK totals to more than 6 months? If not, how long, or how many visits? I'm surprised they would retroactively apply the new PCC rule to you.

Yep, i am a frequent visitor!! So in total yes i have stayed more than 6 months

Agent checked my profile and mentioned that no document is required from me, it is just that BGC is complete.

Did you receive additional document request after 3 days of BGC changing to not needed?

Yes , UK PCC was requested!!

Submitted----April 19 (same day AOR) bg check NOT NEEDED.

April 21------bg check NOT STARTED and medicals PASSED, SCHEDULE A requested.

April 27----schedule A submitted.

April 28------Additional docs provided and BG check back to NOT NEEDED.

what could this imply with bg check.

Iam FSW OUTLAND, SINGLE........CRS 478, FSW 70.

I have received Ready for Visa email at 20 Of april 2016 , My wife was pregnant , I have informed the embassy that I am expecting new born child from 6-8 weeks, they told me that they will return passport back and once child is born and included they will issue visa for all of us.

I have sent all the docs paid all the fees , did the medical. today I found additional documents required by me , I have submit it . suddenly i found my BG returned back to not needed at this time is it normal?!!!!

I supposed adding the new born will be easy , as i did inform them from the beginning that my wife is pregnant.

Background Check...not started till June 02,2016 Received a request for rescanning one of my police clearance, then after submitting it on same date June 02,2016 , Background check went to In progress then after 1 week, it went back to NOt needed at this time

Hello Everyone,

My husband applied for PR under FSW outland. My 2 year old daughter and my self are also a part of the application. Our application shows BG not needed at this time from last 2 months. Does a family application takes more time in processing. I am concerned by when will the the decision be made and sent.

Add Docs Request - 5 March
Sub Add Docs- 8 March
Medical- Passed
BG- Not needed at this ime

Hello guys. I am a FSW outlander with a LMIA.
Here is my timeline.
ITA: 9 March.
AOR 24 April
Meds passed: 25 April
BG: in progress 27 April
BG: not needed at this time 28 April
Nothing after that.
BG: in progress 22 June and is still in progress.

Can the experts please shed some light on it that what step is my application in and when should I be expecting PPR.

i got message from cic like your application has been updated,so when i checked same things are updated like medical is changed to passed and BG check in progress.Good luck bro...
