My background check wentt from in progress to not needed at this time

i got message from cic like your application has been updated,so when i checked same things are updated like medical is changed to passed and BG check in progress.Good luck bro...

I also got the same message in my email that my application is updated... but when I checked my profile my status changed from "In Progress" to "Not needed at this time".

As per the previous applicants BG check you are almost completed because people are getting PPR when first BG check is in progress and again when it is changed to not needed at this time so finally your BG check is changed in progress.This is the really good sign but mine is still same from June 30 but my AOR is only June 13.

Hi Urvish,

It usually takes around 6 months. Depends from person to person. Mine was BG not needed till I hit 6 months, I don't know how long it'll be like this for, but I've heard that for some people it takes few weeks, and for some a few months.

I really don't see any relations to anything, all up in the air. Good luck though, I wouldn't worry too much and let it take it's time. But wait around 6 months, that's usually when you hear back, on average.

There is no specific time lines for next steps its all depends many factors. I would suggest apply for GCMS notes once you cross 2-3 months of AOR date.
In GCMS notes You can find status and any processing details of your file.
