Hi mc1234

Were you asked to attend an interview? I saw your timeline and your process has been very very fast! ;) , if it is possible to say, what kind of proof of relationship you sent with your initial application?

Gracias ;)

No we weren't ask to attend an interview (and hopefully we don't get ask too) So far it has been fast but its not over so our process could still be long! :( We included a lot of proof in our initial application: car insurance, gym contracts, trips together, plane tickets of travelling to see eachother, vacations we took, sworn declarations from family and friends, Photo time line, skype convos, fb convos, calling cards, photos with family and friends, mail sent to our address, shared addresses on our IDs drivers license, joint bank account, proof of being eachothers beneficiaries, etc these are the things I can think of off the top of my head.

Also, we have little age difference (1 year apart) no dependents, never married previously and no previous immigration issues.

Thanks mc1234

Hey guys, have any of you voluntarily sent additional proof of relationship to the Candian Embassy in Mexico? if so, did you also send a letter with your application number and explaining you wanted to include more supporting documents? or how did you do it?

Thanks 8)

We did send in some additional (updated) documents. I felt our case was strong and had hopes by doing so it would speed up the process. In reterospect, I dont know if I made the right choice doing so, but I guess only time will tell. When you submit something to the embassy always be sure to include the full name of the applicant along with their client ID and application number.

Suerte!

Once the Canadian Embassy in Mexico gets your PR application, they sent the AOR to the sponsor or sponsored person? ::)

Hows your family doing in Canada, Candiangirl? :)

Thats fantastic, Canadiangirl! Hopefully you guys can get some fresh tortillas at la tortilleria! :) I was so cold yesterday too! I havent been here for winter since 2010 so I am not use to cold weather, haha. Today is nice though :) I am glad you two are happy here!!!
