Yesterday I got the 35 pages GCMS report through lawpoint mentioned that Security and Criminality assessments are not yet started.Another point which makes me confused is

So I cant understand what happened in my file on that day.

This report was created on 2nd April,2013 so does it mean that till that day they didn't post the PPR?

I got Medicals request on 13 March and sent My Medicals with updated doc rprf +forms on 14 April...My file has been transfered to LVO to Paris Visa Office.

How much average time will it take now.

As per your GCMS notes all the things are normal.......and your security and criminality checks still not initiated......did you sent your updated background declaration form + PCC and RPRF with medical....if yes then your Criminality checks and Security checks sure started now....if not then wait for request of updated docs...Security and Criminality checks depends on case to case basis...some time within month and some time it may be take 5 to 7 months...if your travel history is not complicated....then if may be done in between 3 to 4 months....

What is GCMS?

What are GCMS notes or a GCMS file?

The Global Case Management System (GCMS) is a multi-year project that will replace several existing systems at Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). The goal of the project, which began in fiscal 2000–01, is to provide CIC with an automated, highly integrated case management tool to support its global business network and provide enhanced end-to-end client services. When complete, GCMS will support more than 7,000 users at CIC and the CBSA in some 125 points of service in Canada (offices, call centres, processing centres, citizenship courts and ports of entry) and more than 100 missions abroad.

In short, this system will replace (and combine) both CAIPS and FOSS. GCMS has not been completely implemented at all visa offices, so to make sure we receive all available information, we will request both GCMS and your CAIPS or FOSS notes.

Average time of PPR is 4 to 5 months...but its vary case to case basis.
