Lightening the mood for the weekend a bit...
Q. how did you meet your spouse?

I met my sweetheart in Seoul, South Korea. He was DJ-ing in a bar that I used to go to frequently. 3 years and 4 days ago.

Met mine on a beach in Varadero! There were about 6 of us on the beach having a few drinks and as he was walking by one of the group knew him and called him over and he stayed for the afternoon....and we are now here 2 years and 8 months later!!!!

How sweet! I once had a holiday romance in varadero... I was only 21. Cuba is so romantic!

aren't you sipping a drink somewhere on a greek beach??? It's not a bad thing you have never been there but if you like to interact with local culture definitely give it a try!!!! hoping to make Cuba my second home....very tired of Canadian winters....!!!

My hubby and I met almost 2 years ago in San Francisco. I was doing a management class + internship and he was traveling. Met in August 2010, fell in love, I had to go back to Germany in December, he visited me in Germany in Jan/Feb 2011, I applied for a Working Holiday Visa and came to Canada in April 2011. Got engaged in October and married in March 2012.

Me and my sweetheart met at New Delhi Airport for the first time .........It was an arranged marriage and she came to India for Marriage .......our marriage was fixed before we both even met ......we were tgthr for 20 days , went to mauritius , rented a car and explored mauritian island for 8 days...those were the days .......still we r in the process of falling in love .......Plz CIC approve the sponsorship quickly.........we have to explore the whole world.......

how interesting. Is it not scary to spend the rest of your life with someone that you don't know all that well? I would be petrified!

Yes Bonitanita , we both were damn scared .......but luckily things turned out better than we both ever hoped for .......can't wait to be tgthr again ........

We met in High school but didn't become a couple until we had left school when we were 18 then we were together for 2 years and both went to Canada so I could study there on an exchange (my boyfriend was already a citizen having been born there and moved to the uk when he was 3) we just loved our life in Canada but had to go back to the uk when my visa ended. But hopefully we can be there together again soon

I have a quick question maybe someone can help me with? I applied for my RCMP check over 3 months ago, fingerprints and everything mailed to them. Ive not received anything back at all... Is there any way to track it? Or do they send it straight to the VO/ case processing centre? I'm not even sure if I needed it but I applied for it anyway as a precaution... Anyone have a clue how it works?
