Hello Everyone! I should have known this way back! I submitted my sponsorsorship application to Mississauga.
They received ot May 15 ,2012. I hot an email on Sept 10,2012 that i'm eligible to sponsor abd that his application for Permanent resident is forwarded to Canadian visa offixe in Manila.
It's been 4 months since I got that email but still the same status when I checked online! It only says decision made (for me thesponsor) and application received (for my husband)
Drives me crazy because every people I know, who sponsored their husbands same time as me are all here. Makes me wonder if he's papers are really in manila. It sucks becuse I cant ask about it because i'm still "within the processing time." I hope I'm not alone in this kind of situation.

A lot of people from around that time have not yet been granted COPR. Look at the spreadsheet in my signature and you'll see that many Manilla applicants are in the same boat.

how's your ecas doing everyone? my ecas still the same "application received" even after i sent my passport three weeks ago.

Our timelines are very close. You applied 16 days after us, and were approved 6 days after us. We are still waiting on any word from the embassy. In addition to the May spreadsheet there are 2 cumulative Manila spreadsheets on the go. Those are open to edit, want me to add your details in?

I have added you to the Manila VO sheet as well. The link is in my signature. You can update your entry as you get more info.

Oh, and if you see an annoying pattern on the headings just select View and turn off Protected Ranges (apparently there is no way I can force it to do that).

Got a reply from Ottawa stating that they need proof that I(sponsor) live and work in Ontario now. I made the move beginning of Jan. Any opinions of what I should send. I have a letter from work saying I am working there, I have my bank account info. I have no pay stubs yet. or T4's since 2010.

Proof of where you are living like a letter from your landlord would be good.

yes i agree it is really frustrating . everytime i checked my ecas all i wish is to see it changed a little bit :'(.

Canadian husband sponsor, immigrations called his workplace today to I guess verify his employment. It is a seasonal position so he is currently on EI and they requested a copy of his ROE, also asked how how he was living financially. I thought once they approved the sponsor this was all checked. Also didn't expect a phone call. At least this means my app is being looked at and he said we should hear in a couple of weeks. anyone else have this experience?
