Morning all.

(my timeline is in my signature if you want to see it(.

I'm an applicant through Quebec, in theory I'm a simple case. Canadian gf and I'm British,we're common law, no kids etc. Just me and her

I have my OWP and already have a permanent job here. I have received my CSQ from Quebec also. But other than that I am way behind a lot of you guys.

I have not been asked yet for medical or biometrics, or had my eligibility checked. Is there anyone else yet with a similar status? Does having Québec in the mix really slow the sponsorship process down that much?
Shall I call them or just chill out and relax?

Inland Common-law Sponsorship, QC

Just a heads up, Quebec applications move very differently than everyone else because we have to get the CSQ also.
If you want to talk with other from QC from 2019 and compare timelines, there is this thread:

I am a Feb applicant and only got my medical request in August, and there are others from Jan/Feb who haven't received communication since they got their CSQ.

Hii, if you didn’t send medical upfront then you should have received medical request by now. But if you have already submitted one with your application you need not to worry.

And if your BGC started on August 10, you need to wait for some time to hear something from them.
My BGC started on July 16 and I got Eligibility pass letter on August 26.
I think you should just wait for some time and stay positive.

Good luck.
Hey! Thank you for taking the time to reply; I didn't send it upfront as we weren't asked to. I was asked to send my police certificates upfront, (which I did). Otherwise just my standard PR and OWP applications,

The status still says: You do not need a medical exam, and you do not need to submit your biometrics. So maybe it's because I'm also answering to Quebec that everything is taking so long.

Based on your timeline hopefully my BGC should be complete within a couple of weeks of now. Hopefully that'll spark some more activity. I'll wait now till I get the result of this before deciding if I need to ring IRCC for assurance or not.

Thank you again for replying!

OK that makes me feel a bit better then, because other than the BGC I've heard zero since I got my CSQ until 3 weeks ago when my BCG started.

No medical, no fingerprints, no review of sponsor eligibility. Waiting on BGC.

I sit with my OWP and just working hard at my new job and hoping for news soon.

I'll bookmark the Quebec page as it might be more in-line with my timelines than the non-QC timelines.

Hi everyone

I send my app on 15th of March.

My application was received March 25, 2019
Radio silence since medicals June 6,2019.
No notification of background checks or any other information.

Email Sept. 5, 2019 with landing interview for Sept. 26, 2019.

Don't lose hope if you haven't had updates. From the spreadsheets it looks like
not receiving an email about background checks starting doesn't mean they have not.
