Does it usually take cic this long to process payments and other routine forms, or is it that they just haven't come around to updating our profiles?

1. I think it is too soon to contact CIC and ask visa office. wait at least 1 to 2 months. Calling will not change anything, will it? better order GCMS note after 2 month of AOR.

I just found my application was "Updated" today but I have not received any emails and there is no new messages in my account.
My Application went directly from MEP to IP2, I am hopeful this might be it!!

This is normal. That message probably won't change at all until you get PPR. The fact that they are asking for RPRF is a good sign that your application is moving along. What stream did you apply under? You application is relatively new but it seems like you could get PPR in the next few days or couple weeks.

Nice, keep us updated. AOR Mar 16 here so I hope things are moving along quickly.

I just called CIC and it was confirmed to me that my application has been taken to Case Processing Centre in Ottawa. it was transferred two days after MEP

It might be a sign for PPR. I know several people got 'updated' first then PPR after several hours or one day
