It is a good thing!
That's exactly the response I got yesterday. Just means the email has been generated, but not been sent out by their system.
The good thing is, they have opened your file, and have all your details, so that's good.

They'll send it the mails/emails in mass to everyone. They do that at the end of the day I think, send out all the e-mails or post at one go.

I got my AOR in the email at 7.45 am eastern today!
So either expect an email (if you've given them an e-mail) tonight, or Tuesday since they'll be closed Friday-Monday.
Check your junk mail too just in case..

On the email they stated that my application to sponsor has been received. Yes!! I got my AOR!! So you really need to call them to get AOR. ;D

Are you able to check your status online with the UCI/Application numbers you got?

We went over this with some other people a while ago, generally takes a week before you can log in.

So just received an AOR email this morning from the Mississauga office.
Hope the SA comes soon!
Relieved at least received something..

Whoever is responsible for updating the March spreadsheet, would appreciate it if you could do the needful?

I know it's still early for all of us, but just out of curiosity..

How will we know when we're getting "close" to PR being issued? What will it say in ECAS?

We're planning to leave the minute we get my hubby's PR, and I would like to quit my crappy job a month or two prior!

I believe the soonest you would know for sure is probably when they request your passport. Otherwise if your Medicals happen to expire and they request new ones that can also mean the decision will be made soon. Not sure if ECAS says anything but maybe someone else knows

Our status online has changed to "Decision made" and they say they sent a letter on April 15 - we haven't received anything yet though.
Hopefully we'll see it come through shortly.
Or maybe the next thing will be an AOR from Sydney... we live in hope.

Would that be a decision made on SA and then they send your application to your VO, which in your case is Sydney?

I believe I read somewhere that you can call Missassauga and they can't comment on whether your sponsor was approved, but they can say if your application has moved on to your VO, which is just another way of saying that your sponsor was approved lol.
