Hi everyone! I still don't have my approval. I don't really know what happened because my friend's app was received on the 9th of April and she already got approved. I'm guessing they're doubting our relationship. I don't see any other reason why my application is taking this long, all I can do is wait and pray. xD But I'm still hoping. I just wanted to update y'all. And can you please add my timeline. xD My app was received on the 19th. It's not on the spreadsheet. Thanks much! haha

I've called them before and I haven't called them since then. I'm just tired of being paranoid. I had my papers checked, the immigration center here in Winnipeg made sure I had all the papers they required. Now I was thinking if it's complete and because I had it checked twice, maybe because they've doubts or it's because my husbands address was written as Ii instead of II. I don't know.

Hey kimnavarro if ur sponsor cannot meet financial help they dnt approve the sponsorship and that might be an option why ur case is delaying so much and one other thing is some people here have got mail in spam folders so u first checkur spam folder it might be there and thn call cic if ur deadline of 28-30 day is already passed god bless you, have faith... Dnt lose paitence...

I am the sponsor. I work 2 jobs right now. I have a full time job and a part time job. I don't think that's the case. Do they have evaluate my husband's financial capability as well? If they do I still don't think our app will be refused because of that. But oh Boy i know. All I'm praying for right now is patience. At this point, there's just nothing I can do.

they just evaluate the sponsors financial in this case yours and if you do have 2 jobs i dont see any problem as long as you are not on welfare or whatever but i recommend you to call its been how long now?

It's going to be 2months on the 19th. Do you know any other reasons for the delay?

I dont really know any other reason for the delay they here what usually i think they do is to make sure you meet the financial needs,i believe where they look all over your app about if your relationship is genuine or not is on the visa office that why they take longer but i recommend you to call 2 months its a really longgg time and your not gonna lose anything if you call

I see. I've been afraid to call because I heard that if you bug them they'd delay your papers more. The last update when I called was that there was nothing wrong it's just that they just haven't made the decision yet. I came here on Sept. 2011. Does it make a difference? Went home and got married this Jan. oh boy

it doesnt matter as long as you are a permanent resident or citizen but hey your papers are already delay, and when you applied theres was a 28 days timeline, and its been more than that, on the website say to call if that time has passed so dont be scared ,

Just call them and say the processing deadline has passed and you want to know why you have not heard anything. There is a possibility that they tried contacting you but maybe they have the wrong email address. Or there is also a possibility that your app is just sitting somewhere. Mine sat around unopened until I called them. They tried telling me they had no such application until I read them the tracking info from my courier and they "looked" for it. Then they "found" it.

So if your application is overdue, and the "processing applications sent on" date (currently April 8, 2013) is past when you sent yours, call them.

They've already opened my application because I already received my AOR and according to the email they got my app on the 19th of March . I wished we had the same case. I really do. I called them on the 31st of April, they sent an email to Mississauga on my behalf and said that I was past the processing date. The call center told me it wouldn't be until after 3 months before they could send another inquiry for me.
