Hi everyone!
Please I need your help guys.
How did you organize your application before sending it?
All my pictures like wedding and reception photos, old and new photos and our conversation, i attached them with the Form 5490 (spouse questionaire). Do i need to provide another photos, or any additional details as proof of our relationship? Coz i dont have any idea what else i need to be added. Thank you. Please.

Hi cha_nurz!
Thanks for ur response. Thats what Im thinking but i think i cant provide envelope 3 because I think I have enough pictures and supporting documents already attached to my forms. Hope its okay. Anyway, how much the exact amount did u pay? Because my husband paid 550$, not included for PR payment.

I paid $ 1040 that's for everything, cause per advice from cic to avoid any further delay of processing it is much better to pay ahead of time, rather than waiting again for them to send us a notice for the payment.

Hi! Im planning to sponsor my husband this month (march) and I dont know where to start. We just got married recently (feb).
We're starting to gather all the documents stated on the checklist. So first step is to gather documents and fill up the form?and then pay the necessary fees and send it all together with my hubby's application form too? Am I right? coz I really get confused. Hope you can help me guys!thank you so much! :)

Hi to all the members of this March 2013 Applicant thread

As I belong to February 2013 thread I like to ask if here are one-two volunteers who would like to maintain and fill when necessary a spreadsheet so you guys can keep track of your applications progress.

Please take a look at this link and let me know if anyone is willing to do this. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArQn4OImtWzQdFJOZk9pMEhnYm5DLUM0UmExV3ZPTmc#gid=1

On our part the people who made the sheet and maintain it are Gary_87 and Sweden and with their permission I will post this for you!

Please contact me in pm or write a reply here

After months of preparation, we sent our application last week, and delivered to Mississauga this Monday! Fingers crossed!

Hi guys!

I received a request by somebody from this thread to add him/her to the Google spreadsheet! Please say who you are or send me a pm and will immediately add you so you can administrate it!

Hello, I guess i will be joing this forum for the next few months :) I sent the application on march 12 and it was received this morning (march 14) I sent it by express post and cost $37 for 2 day delivery so at least i know that they got it. Good luck to all and hope to chat more.

Hi everyone, I emailed my application on March 1st, it was received by March 4th. Wondering what happens next, I was hoping for some sort of notification email I but haven't received any news yet. Good luck to all March applicants :)

The next thing you are most likely to receive will be Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) which can range from 1-2 weeks. Some people get AOR, and some just get their Sponsorship Approval (SA) right away.

Right now, this stage of the process (Stage 1- SA) according to the CIC website takes around 30 days (it could be less than that). If you don't get anything after 30 days, you can already call CIC to follow-up.
