LMO processing Time - Alberta

Im waiting for my LMO exactly 7 weeks and 2 days now...

ask ko lang kasi na confused ako bigla sa offer letter ang nakalagay sa assignment date is january 15, 2012 then ang end date is januaey 15, 2014, bakit ganun? di ba dapat 2 years contract. eh di ang lalabas ay almost 1 year lang ako??

Sa job offer letter mo or contract nakalagay starting date is on jan 15,2012 then end will be on jan 15,2014.

eh di ba nakalampas na ang january 15 2012? so dapat Jan 15,2013 ang start? correct me if I'm wrong pero I think nagkaroon ng typographical error sa job offer sayo. Try to ask your employer regarding this matter para malinaw sa kanya and pati na rin sayo. Sayang ang chance kung dahil sa typographical mistakes magkakaroon ng confusion sa pag analyze ng VO sa papers mo.
Sana makatulong ito kahit na I'm still a first time visa applicant. My papers will be picked up by the courier on Saturday so sana AOR/MR na next week.

Don't loose hope malay mo anjan na yang lmo mo. Pero a piece of advice, mas mainam if you're still looking for another prospective employer para hindi masayang oras mo kakaintay sa lmo mo sa current prospective employer mo. Just like what I experienced my lmo was applied last June pa then sabi ng employer ko in 2-4 weeks daw then hanggang sa August na wala pa rin. Nag give up na ako kasi wala na rin kai communication ng employer ko na yun. So habang nag wait ako, nag aapply pa rin ako online the interview online na rin. Mas mainam yung may back up kang lmo applied under your name para kung alin man ang mauna at least sure ka na meron kang lmo. Keep on applying online and hopefully makahanap ka din sana ng employer na may open lmo.

Soon you'll have your lmo, just keep on praying and he'll answer your prayers in a snap.

We're on the same boat right now. My documents will be picked up tomorrow or on Tuesday. My lmo will expire on Mar 2013. Since maraming holidays this coming weeks, for sure may delay sa process ng visa. Pero kung anu man resulta o abutan man ng expiration ng lmo nasa vo ang final judgment and tayo intay lang. Sabi nga ng ibang nasa forum ibibigay ni God sayo kung talagang para sayo.

Pray lang ng pray then magpakabusy pa rin. Tuloy ang buhay.

I have received my positive LMO after exactly 9 weeks for Alberta - thats quite good
As i am a cititzen from visa - exempt coutry i will obtain my work permit at port of entry in Canada.
All the best to all of you! Keep on and dont lose hope (i nearly did) !!!

It's been sometime for my brother in law's LMO he's been waiting for like 6 months, not sure if it was because the company requested for, 4 open LMO's at first, then company re-submitted 1 under his name, now in the last 6 weeks the place where ever they process LMO'S in AB requested additional or missing information from the company. The company submitted the requested information and then somewhere along the line the place where ever they process LMO'S in AB said they could not locate the sent information. The Company gave him a letter of guaranteed employment. We even went to our local MLA this didn't help a bit. As of to date my Brother in law is still waiting on the LMO? We are at our wits end. When the Company who hired the Brother in law calls the processing unit in AB they keep telling them it's still or has been resumed in the processing process.UHHH?? Why so long?? any answers? and once he does receive his LMO does anybody know how long it will take for a work permit to be processed? any feed back would be appreciated. :'(

Hi there Tired...I think my situation is similar to your Brother's in law...My company first applied on the 10th of June, then mid August they asked for additional info and since the guy who helps me to get the LMO, was on vacation at that time, after some days they refused the application. When he got back, he applied for the second time...it was September the 10th and since then I have been waiting for any news...it is 11/12 weeks...to be honest, I lost my hope because for me it lasts too long....they say usually it takes 8weeks, some say from 8-12. So why is mine taking so long????? I do not know who to blame....My dream is to go to Canada but I can do nothing but wait for the miracle...My experience did not probably help you but sharing it helped me a lot Keep my fingers crossed for all people who are still waiting!!!
