LMIA application processing time?

Hi All,

My boss received the interview call yesterday and the lady seemed to be really rude and kept saying that did we try to hire canadian. she didn’t give the answer and said she’ll talk to her team lead and decide. she was being a bully and giving hard time. i’m scared

in this situation, your Boss should have requested to speak with the manager and explain things properly. Just because you got a rude case manager doesn't mean you shouldn't make your case properly during the telephonic interview.... Just my 2 cents based on people i talk to who has been through this interview.

That lady kept saying why isn’t my company trying to hire some canadian. I have been working for this company for a year and half and she just wants them to get someone else. i know the job that’s why my company wants to help me. The interviewer said I’m gonna have to talk to a team lead and see from there. I know my file is pretty good and there’s no way of denial but the interviewer just seemed like a narcissist to be honest. You think my boss should call back and request for some other interviewer or service canada will call back?

Does anybody know if closed work permit is extended?
Am in alberta on closed work permit and I just came to know that it dies not get extended. If not then what will be the process future process. can anybody help on this please.

Hey guys, I just get the positive LMIA this morning.
Here is the timeline:
Submit documents : June/12/2019

Fee deduction: June/19/2019

Interview: Oct 29/2019

Additional documents request: Oct/30/2019

One more document request: Nov/1/2019

LMIA approved: Nov/5/2019

My PGWP was expired. Now I am applying for restoration.
During the long waiting time, my consultant and my boss called Service Canada for 3 times.
The LMIA file was quick viewed by an officer on July/13/2019.
Somehow the file hadn’t been assigned to an officer until Oct/3/2019

Anyway, good lucks guys!

Job Ads: 12/2018 to 03/2019 (through an agency)
Apply: 03/30/2019
File number: 26/04/2019
Received email from an officer asking further information: 15/10/2019. We provided them all a day after.
Phone interview: 17/10/2019. The interview lasted for an hour with many questions surrounding the nature of the business and the candidate's profile.
Positive letter: 26/10/2019.

We are updating our EE profile with a job offer and waiting for the next draw. Good luck!

Hi guys
We’ve got some trouble in MPNP application in Winnipeg.
1, My wife and I are currently outside Canada and my agent told me the LMIA application from my employer had been received on 10 Sept. 2019. Wondering dose anyone knows how long will it approximately take till the employer receive the interview and file number? My job is office manager, NOC B, wage $25/hour but not on the shortage list.
2, is there anyway to verify the authenticity of the receipt and confirmation email from Service Canada? My agent had covered up a lot of information on the document that I’m not sure even these documents are related to my application. I know the employer’s name, address and the holder’s name from the job offer. We’ve waited for 4 months since I signed the job offer on 10th July. Wondering is there anything I can do or just have to wait?
