Hey there - I'm with an employer trying to sponsor an employee for a francophone mobility work permit (so no LMIA needed) - I was wondering if there could be a "offer rescind" date on the offer letter where we could withdraw the offer in the event that the candidate isn't authorized to work within a reasonable amount of time (say four-six months). Would this be acceptable or would that interfere with the processing or approval of such a work permit?
Also - is there a particular format that the offer letter needs to follow? Our company normally does electronic offer letters but I figure that for the purposes of immigration a hand-signed letter would be necessary. Is that true?
Edit - it looks like the "job offer" is moreso a series of forms on the IRCC employer portal. Is there a necessity for an uploaded offer letter? Apologies for basic questions but this is my first foray into this process.
Let me know. Thanks!
