Update on this one, we did indeed get approval on the file within two days of it arriving at the processing office! The credit card declined and we didn't get follow up until early this week, but all done!

That's awesome! Congratulations, you lucky duck :)

I didn't know they could request additional documents twice. What did they ask in the first time? Info about the ads as well?

Yes same thing, my employer is really furious now, our ads(indeed and job bank) have been running since July.. I just hope we get a positive reply this month.. This waiting game is killing me

Hi all!

Is there anyone who applied for an LMIA to support PR only (No Fees LMIA)?

I did, and still on process. Yes, no fees.

That's frustrating. In my case, they have requested additional documents on Nov 4, 2015. We had to duplicate the Job Bank ad two weeks ago because we extended it so many times that it was no longer possible to extend (maximum 120 days). The worst thing is that the prevailing wage for my position has raised and now I'm a little below. Hopefully they will take into account the last prevailing wage (when we applied).

I've heard of some cases that they have requested documents before AND after the interview. Which means, there's no standard protocol as I think it might depend sometimes of the documentation provided.

Fingers crossed! Hopefully they will start issuing some positive LMIAs and stop asking for more additional documents!

I am eagerly waiting too. Mine was applied in June and it's January now with no news.
I hope we all waiting get some positive news. It's crazy the amount of time that they are taking.

I haven't followed your case completely. Are you applying through an immigration lawyer/consultant? Do you have already received a reference number? Which NOC and Province are you applying for?
Mine is for Calgary, Alberta. Dual Intent LMIA. Done through consultant lawyer (Entry Canada). Applied in September, after weeks of filling documents, APEGA letter of no-objection and job ad rolling. They have applied and paid the fee. Some days later, the reference number was issued. By the end of October additional documents were requested and the receipt was confirmed some 2 weeks later. Now it's interview time.

Got some good news We just received the approval of our LMIA !! They sent it through mail..
So just stay positive, good luck to all

Hi AlanKju,

Yes it was applied through an immigration consultant. What my employer told was they have received a file number. But after that I have no update.
They have renewed the job postings again as well.
Province - BC and NOC - 1225 ( buyers and purchasing agents)
The company is well established and have never applied for LMIA before.

I am so stressed out.
