LMIA application processing time?

Hi,

My employer is getting an interview call tomorrow, and I have a silly question bothering me. What's the purpose of making an interview call to the employer? Will the interview call determine the result of the application?

Can anyone ease my tension?Thank you in advance.

I reapplied the application on Mar 06/07, got replied on Mar 16 for more documents, emailed back to the officer on Mar 20th along with the specific date for interview call.

i have employer name on my work permit,
lmia expiry date is june 2017
my question is till what date i can claim lmia 50 points for express entry

Which center did you send to? I have my file NO on Feb 28, but haven't had news yet. And What NOC are you? Is it because of different of NOC?

I have applied as visitor to restore my status. Does this affect getting wp at border? if officer don't issue wp at border then still I have option to apply wp online?

Jobs exempt from needing an LMIA

There are only two reasons the employer making you the offer does not need to get a new LMIA:

if you are already working for them with a work permit based on that LMIA
if you work in a job that does not need an LMIA.

LMIA has been issued by the federal government of Canada. So the officer must issue the WP. Explain your situation clearly.
