Latest CAIPS / GCMS notes forms and how to order?

Thanks Cocknbull, For a long I have been checking our Application Status Online.. but after Appeal only once I could open that and now it is not showing the status.. Do you know why??

I have heard on forum that recently there is an error in ecas. It could be the reason and try to check from both options like file no and UCI number and make sure put correct spellings name, date of birth etc. and keep checking ecas every day..

My case was rejected on March 12,2012 after I send reconsideration letter my E-cas changed to inprocess and i got my GCMS report on 10 January 2013 and new VO created GROUP 1 in GCMS and it shows with the below details is it means they accepted my file?.

In my CAIPS i find a line as "PNW: Submitted. Not properly checked". What does it mean? I have sent a PM to you asking some decodes, not sure whether it finds you or not.

Eligibility: Passed, Criminality : Passed
Medical : Not started
Paper file location : Registry
Application Assignment Due date : 15/10/2012

Plz comment your expert advise.

I'm about to order CAIPS, and through my attempt to fill the application form IMM5563E, I noticed that there are only sections 4A and 4B (while in the previous pages you had mentioned 4 different sections about the type of the information being requested).

I wonder why is that
Also, cocknbull had mentioned that "Please note you CAN'T select "4A)" and "Immigration file : permanent residence" at the same time."

I wonder why, and which option of 4A section shall be selected to obtain CAIPS for PR applicants?

I appreciate your assistance in advance.

I just checked the form, on the CIC site, probably they have changed it and it has just 4A and 4B in it.

In this case you need to tick 4A and second column 'IMMIGRATION FILE: PERMANENT RESIDENCE' and than fill the file No and Location.

Hi!

Your case seems ok as eligibility and criminality both passed. Looks like its stuck with ECU like most of NDVO applicants. Allow some time and you will be ok. Good luck to you...

Hi!

Agreed with sunnysport. They had changed the forms and you probably got confused with old IMM5563 with new IMM5563. As per new IMM5563

in section C you have to tick 4A) Electronic files then choose immigration file: permanent residence then file no and location. Location is location of your visa office like London, UK. Thanks
