My husband just told me that he received my PR card by post today!! ;D

I didnt have any update on Ecas and it took 54 days to receive it since I landed.

On the CIC website, the processing time for PR card reads as 48 calendar days.

JenPin, that's great!! There's still hope for me as I landed the day before you. Jeez, it went from 33 days, 3 days ago, up to 48?!!

chip, mine still says 'Decision made' with no further info!

JenPin Congrat on receving your card, I landed November 25 and my ecas showed processing January 8, I called the agent this morning and was told that my PR card has been approved and was sent to the card production for issuance, and he said i should get the card this week or next week for sure

call the call center then options 2-3-2-0 in that order and you will get an agent. wait time will probably be 10-15

I JUST CALLED THE CIC AGAIN, AND THEY CONFIRMED THAT THE CARD WAS SENT OUT TODAY JANUARY 14.

I finally got through to CIC, on the phone. I talked to an agent for about 10 minutes, then he says he needs to transfer me to another agent! ??

That agent said my file was sent to another office, for verification. She said this happens sometimes and is nothing to worry about, but that I should have received my card on January 7th.
I asked her when I could expect it, she said she had no idea. That, basically, I should still watch my mailbox. WTH?!

yeah, mine got lost in the mail. they won't really let you do anything about it until 6 weeks have passed since it was mailed out. and the process to get a new one issued is quite long. it comes from NS, so it may take some time to get to you depending on where you are. canada post is slow.

She didn't say when it was mailed, just that I should have gotten it by January 7th. So, wait until 6 weeks after that?

We are so upset because hubby booked a flight for us to go to Cuba the first week of March, and I can't get back in without the card! Yikes!!!!

By the way, I still have my Visitors Record, good until July 15th, would that get me back in to Canada when returning from Cuba?

do you require a visa to enter canada? i would imagine the visitor's record is now void because you are a pr.
