Good afternoon everyone! I need help. I am so frustrated with the application. I have been honestly gathering information, and researching this whole process since last year September. I will have finished completing the application by tonight (just one more form to complete). I need to have it reviewed. I am not sure about certain sections. Would it be wise to bring it to a lawyer or immigration consultant to review? I feel overwhelmed. As proof of the relationship I have printed out our conversations from “what's app,” which came up to over 1,000 pages! Do you think this is too much? I have also printed out the conversations that he has between my mother and siblings (he speaks to them on a regular basis too). I just feel like this application is going to take an immigration officer forever to go through! It's taking me forever to put together!

Everyone has a different prospective on what and how much to file. Personally I would say that 1000 pages of whatsapp is a bit too much. Can you take a few pages per month since beginning to present and explain that you have 1000 pages but are just providing a snapshot?

As for lawyer to review you need to do what you feel best. Where do you live? Perhaps I can help?

Hello Canadian VISA FORUM~

This is my second round on this forum, and I am hoping to come on with positive responses and positive feedback from postings that I make on here. I am coming on here to ask questions and seek guidance from a few specific individuals which I deem to understand the same view point that I am coming from.

I wish all applicants and sponsors quick processing and hope this "go round" will see much less drama than the last time I was here.

:) HAVE A BLESS DAY!

Sh & Sh

Welcome back SH SH!!! I am fairly new here and hate drama so really hope there isn't any. When there is I just ignore and remember all the positive vibes on here.

Congrats on the good news!!!! Wooo hooo!!! You still goin to jamaica or you going to book ticket for wifey to come

Already have a ticket for me as I bought it in Jan 2014. At the time, the status was still unknown. The thing that really bites is to change my return flight. She wants to just leave Jamaica and come with me, so to leave early and get on the same flight, is costing me $1300 UGH. Oh well. Such is life.

West Jet.

Apparently one way flights back are over $800 one way in the month of march as the prices have gone up. And for me to change my return flight, I get some credit which roughly requires me to add another $425 to the cost of my return flight for March.

Well it is peak summer month. They did tell me that when I bought my ticket back in Jan 2014, that was a good time to buy for march. Half way through Jan 2014, the ticket prices went up for march travel as the demand went up. There is currently 3 seats left in March for a return flight. So am hoping tomorrow when we get the passport, once I see the visa issued inside it, I can go and make the flight changes and the seats will still be available.

Just checked west jet.com. Tons of one way flights for next week in the $350 range. Maybe u booked in march break and that's why the problem. Mbj- yyz

Good luck with that. I am in Vancouver, not Toronto.

Well then your posts are a tad misleading...

How are they mis-leading? Have you noticed my provincial flag next to my name? :)

Either way. Wj has many flights for next week "early march" one way from mbj-yvr in $500 range. Your posts are misleading either way.

West Jet has a $85 fee for changing flights for existing reservations + ( new ticket price $625 for one way return - minus my credit of $275) + cost of wife's flight $825. All prices include all taxes already and fees. On the day that I am looking, that is the price. There are cheaper options am sure but that doesn't work for me due to prices we will incur in hotel fees. It makes it easier to pay more for a flight on the day we can get it. In the end, it is cheaper than to get a cheaper flight so save $100 and pay $400 in hotel fees. You do the math. Also, I fly in at 130pm on a day in March, the same day I fly out at 7pm with my wife. Because my vacation is already booked at work, I am fixed to certain days where this will work to avoid extra fees i.e hotel stay. I did the pros/cons, and this is the best deal which ultimately saves me $500. Its not cheap, yeah I get it. But based on my ticket and the dates, this works.
