I emailed Kingston back in august and they never replied. I emailed them asking if they had received our application and whether or not to send in another medical as my husbands current medical expires at the end of November here. On the online services on the cic website it says the application has been received for permanent residence on May 27th and they have it listed that the medical has been received as well. So I guess its just a waiting game for them to catch up. And sure I don't mind about the spreadsheet.
I have added you to the spreadsheet. Check out the link below my purple ticker down there and you will see everyones timelines.......a waiting game is all it is now!

Good morning and welcome to the famjam! I have added you to the spreadsheet, if you click the link below my ticker you will see other peoples time lines, anyone in light green, Kingston has their passport and they are awaiting its return, anyone in dark green has landed and anyone in white, well sadly we havent made it thru yet but it is good sometimes to see how long it has taken others. Again welcome

Thanks Chickie! Very thoughtful of you. What does it mean when immigration has their passport? That they're in the process of getting their Visa? I'm SO lost on a lot of this stuff and winging it.

You guys ROCK!

It's so weird how just a month ago I felt SO alone in this process, not realizing that there are many many more than I thought ever possible!

Welcome among our forum Family ninirae!
We are all hearing the same things from everyone that isn't familiar with this long process and we can find here lots of support, laughing, sometimes shoulder to cry on and plenty of info. We we're all lurkers once and wanted to join in after a while :P

My husband and I are looking forward to start a Family as well, but I'm a bit reluctant to do it on my own for a while... 30 is young, I'm near 40 soon lol! I raised my almost 20 years old son being a single mom, and not too exited about doing it again even for few months, to my hubby's huge disappointment because he doesn't have any children. We'll put ourselves to work when we know that this long journey is about to end. My biological clock is ticking, but the movement is still on ;)

Welcome again!

I just realized that I never thank you for the welcome! :)

I'm NOT inconsiderate for even though it's late... THANKS! :)

I appreciate the feedback about having a child without him around. I keep tell him to wait, but he wants it now, so I just keep flying around my ovulating time frames, but keep an open mind tot not being opposed if it happens.

Neither him or I have any children yet, so it will be a first for both of us. I would really like to have him here for the pregnancy and birth, I think it would be very important. I hear what Sammy is saying, that having the baby is amazing, a blessing, and never any regrets... it's n=just a shame that the daddy missed out on his baby girl's birth. The next one for sure ;)

I too believe it is important for my husband to be here for the birth, and also to give me foot massages when my feet start to swell. another thing we were waiting for is a job. I don't want to be on mat leave and him not have a steady job that will pay the bills while I'm earning my little mat leave money. We also have considered him taking the parental leave but I'm not sure how I feel about that especially since it will be our first child

Good morning kingston fam tomorrow is a new start of a new week praying for ppr's and passport returns

Yes! These are all my worries. Except for work. We already have a job lined up for him. That's a truly lucky thing. But the foot rubs, the cravings, the moving baby... Everything!

I too have arranged a couple of jobs for him when he comes. I've arranged a couple because I'm just super worried something might not work out with all the hiring freezes and layoffs going on all over!!Also. The people I know that have offered the jobs work for fairly large companies. If something does not work out within the 3 months I want to make sure we don't have a baby on the way. Probably overthinking everything. But better to be safe then sorry!!!
Before we try for a baby we've agreed we are going to give it a good 6-9 months.
He does everything on the fly. Me. I make calculated decisions. Lol
