We ordered one and we got it last week. But that was 'as on 31st Oct'. Status might have changed after this point.

What's your AOR? Our file was touched on the 1st of August (11 days after the transfer) where they calculated the CRS points and verfied that it met the threshold. After that it was completely untouched till the IP2 update on the 23rd of October.

Almost the same for us, add a couple of days to your timeline at each step. Keeping calm and Hoping for something good coming by for all of us still waiting. Cheers.

There are a few gcms notes posted after the application has been approved. The change is that you will see “Approved” against final decision in the summary on page 2. The security is still blank and doesn’t say completed or approved. Rest eligibility and criminality show passed and completed respectively.

Looks like not IRCC but whoever is doing the security are the ones responsible for the delays.

We spoke to CIC on 20th Nov and Security was not started at that time.

I'm kind of relieved security is not started to be honest. I was afraid the delay was due to some problem with our documents or security taking an unexpectantly long time. But looks like we're just in a queue waiting like many others. As soon as the queue moves up there will be progress

So I've just received the notes, looks like the file is approved, and the Ghost Update 06.11 was exactly about it. And it is the most recent note btw...
And it confirms my case is in Sydney Centralized Intake Office.

Good to see some improvement in few group members files... Sit tight for the final communication, you are almost through.

Security is something that used to be a quicker affair, earlier. Now it takes thrice the time just to start the security.

I think ... i heard one of chaps here... there is new layer of bg verification in ircc.. how i don know but yeaa one of my gym mates who works for rcmp was talking about it

I think it depends on other factors too why secuirty is not started. I have seen people passing security in a day and also some waiting for it to just start for weeks. Dont know whats the reason behind making some applicants wait.
