cim and butetebetlog,

If it's any consolation, I don't think the additional line "we started processing your application..." means anything at all. There were people who got their MRs with nothing more than "In Process" in their ECAS status.

I was hoping a miracle will allow me to catch winter in Toronto. Right now I am thinking I will probably get there by spring at best.

Where are you guys headed? Which city?

Thank you....thank you....a positive word at times like this does wonders ;-)

Yes we must have a white winter 2012.........

I need help from experience forum members. My passport was getting expired on April 2012. So i renewed my passport.
Do I need to send notarized true copy of my new passport and old cancelled passport to the New Delhi Visa office.
I did receive my 2nd AOR 10 days back.
I also have one more query I did submitted my Police Verification Certificate of my old passport number from India and I have also submitted Police certificate from FBI in Canada as well as I was staying there for more than 1 year.
I do want to know do I need to submit fresh Police Verification Certificate again as my passport number has been changed or is the PCC of a person and not for a passport.

Your Suggestions are much awaited.

Ravi

Thank you Farukh!

Thank you Alain. I so want to do Diwali 2012 Bollywood Bash at Brampton with all you guys and definitely do not want to miss Big O's white Christmas party. Wish to join you and Chen for the beer as well (one of you ought to pay, as I surely won't be the one to win this race ;-)) and also Avnesh's Indian Food Party!!

See I remember everything I want to do in Canada. Will CIC have mercy on me and send me a PER!!!

Here are a couple of things I want to do in Canada:

1. do the CN Tower edge walk
2. go whale-watching in or near the bay of Fundy
3. spend a godo 3 days at Banff national park
4. walk into a cave and then along a catwalk near the foot of niagara falls
5. have my picture taken in front of parliament hill in ottawa
6. watch cirque du soleil in Montreal
7. camp at whistler

I am thinking positive here. ;D

Owww....

Anyway, do you know the reason? Or is it just a random thing?

Hello All,

I have asked this question in other forums and also to some people personally in this forum.
But would like to get some more inputs.

I am planning to apply this year under NOC 3113 ( Dentist ).
I have 2.5 years of Dentist experience, but for the last 1.5 years I am working as a marketing person in a hospital.
but I need to show at least 3 yrs work Ex to get 67 points.

Does any body else have a similar situation, where your total experience is not from the Shortage NOC, but you still got points for that Experience.

Regards,
Dr. Shalini

Well then, come one come all. Here is a preview of TO DO number 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KkK35y8MAA

I already asked about the price and it's CAD 175. Whew. Pretty steep. But then again, anybody who is crazy like me should come along and be ready to blow CAD 175 away!

You must have at least one year in an occupation listed in the 29 NOCs. Otherwise you may have any other FULL TIME work exp which will be counted towards your work exp points.

Trust this info helps.

Good luck.
