I observed both the SS of this year and of last year.
Last year the gap between the application receiving date and fee charging is very narrow but the gap between fee charging and per is very vast .
But this year the situation is opposite. this year the gap between the application receiving date and fee charging is very vast but the gap between fee charging and per is very narrow.

Any early to mid July applicants out there with no status updates in their ECAS? I feel like I'm the only one who filed in early July with a stagnant ECAS status, no change since "In Process".

If it's any consolation, I don't think the additional line "we started processing your application..." means anything at all. There were people who got their MRs with nothing more than "In Process" in their ECAS status.

I was hoping a miracle will allow me to catch winter in Toronto. Right now I am thinking I will probably get there by spring at best.

Where are you guys headed? Which city?

Hello Markho,

Thanks much for your response. I just gathered that you are not aware of the "actual" date of your application reaching CIC. You have mailed it on 12th, so it must have rchd around 17th to 18th. Your no. of days are calculated from 12th, hence the big gap. If you minus 8 days then the gap would be about 91 days, which is the average actually. I gathered this "after" I posted the message to you

Regarding this,there were 19 of 31 applicants that you indicated who got interview request in HKVO, their statu seems still unchanged and still show "in process" whether how many sentence wrote in.

Dear all,

Good day. Below forms are requirement for me and my wife when we need to submit our application to CIO. Please let me know.

1) IMM 5612 (Document Checklist)- 7 pages
2) IMM0008ENU_2D(Generic Application Form for canada- signed by principal applicant)- 6 pages
3) IMM5669(Schedule A, Background/Declaration- signed by both principal applicant and spouse)-4 pages
4) IMM5562(Supplementary Information-no need to sign but only for principal applicant)-2 pages
5) IMM0008(Schedule 3, Economic Classes-Federal skilled workers-signed by principal applicant)-2 pages
6) IMM5406(Additional Family Information-both signed by principal applicant and spouse)-1 page
7) IMM 5620(Fee Payment Form-Signed by principal applicant(same with credit card holder))-1 page

We dont have kids and dont use agent. So no need to submit IMM0008 DEP and IMM 5476.

I want to know if i have UCI number, do i need to fill up in IMM0008ENU_2D??? Please let me know.

Maybe they are still deciding whether to interview me or not. Now I'm thinking what the reason/s could be for the interview should there be one. I can guarantee all my documents are legit and original. Proof of funds, I can say is more than enough and had been in my bank account for years already. I don't have any criminal records. And my application was sent complete. I even double checked the duties and responsibilities of my NOC to make sure it really matches. Full time employed, continuous, paid work experience. This is distressing, I should stop thinking about it. When idle time comes, that's when I start checking my ecas and our forum. So far there is no interview notification in my email (both in the inbox and spam)

I have a friend who was required to have an interview next year in January. She received the notification about 2 weeks ago and her 2nd AOR was sometime mid October this year. She said that the interview notification was sent to her via email and the reason was the Embassy wants to see Social Security contributions (verification). I almost forgot, she claims her ECAS status has updated and now says "For interview on January 23..." (not really sure of the exact words though)

I really have no choice but to settle in Toronto. That is where the jobs in my field are. Once I am there and have settled in for maybe 2 yrs, I may decide to go west to Vancouver where most of my Canada-based relatives are.

But that's getting ahead of the story. hehehe. I don't even know if I will make it there. ;D
