It is no problem if your supervisor's signature shows in.com. Make sure that his contact address and phone number is Canadian.

If your reference letter from Supervisor is strong enough, there is no need for a client reference letter. If you don't choose to submit it now, CIC may ask for it at a later date. It is no problem if you get a typed letter from the client - just make sure the job duties and responsibilities match that of your employer letter and it has the name and contact details of the client signing it.

@andy2109
I know, but there are just 3 people from my company working at the client's place an our manager is in India. So on the reference letter it says we i report to Ms. AAA in India, and letter is signed by her(email included on the Canadian Letter head. As the Canadian HR will not be able to give a reference letter with the duties etc, i got a letter printed on the letter head and then had it signed by my manager.

So along with this reference letter(from my employer) i am planning to ask a similar letter from the client manager(in Canada).

Would these be sufficient?

Regards

Yes. If your client Manager can give letter on the same lines, it should work.
Just make sure you explain in detail with a covering letter to CIC on your case when you submit your application.

@JES_ON
But no where in my employment offer letter, i will be reporting to some one in canada. Yes i'm governed by the canadian employer rules. So your thoughts please?

If the letter has everything as requested in the checklist and is written by a mgr/supervisor in Canada, you don't have a problem. Cic expects that you are controlled by the Canadian division so don't require it to be spelled out in the ref letter.

The purpose of this being brought up previously was because you said you had an Indian mgr - which lead us to believe your mgr was in India, when in fact they are in Canada.

So again, as long as the letter provides everything set out in the checklist, you are good.

Hey People

I called CIC today requesting to add my latest work experience document to my case(via email). They said it will be difficult for the officer to match it up with my case received. Also asked if my file has been transferred to Ottawa office. They said we dont know.

My e-Case was updated yesterday 14th aug 2013 and AOR received on 12th Aug 2013.

Do you guys know if my file would have reached the ottawa processing center?.
After AOR, did any had their additional documents (emailed) successfully added?

Please suggest
