At least they told you that they'd respond within 3 business days. I got a genetic automated response saying "we are busy with afghanistan crisis and you can go online to check status and sorry for all the delays." A long essay along these lines. Nowhere did it say anything about a concrete response within 3 days.
Same here. I got a generic reply.

Please check the excel spreadsheet to see if your entry is up to date on the Jan 2021. If there are any updates (or if you aren't on the excel spreadsheet yet), please reply to this with your updates, or tag me so I see the post. I went back a several pages to look for updates that weren't updated yet, but I don't think I'll be going much further back.

Updated. Do you by chance know the date that your paper application was in process on ECAS? Your timeline is similar to my husbands. Paper, and nothing has happened since BGC early May 2021.
Hi

  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on January 13, 2021.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 12, 2021.
  3. We started processing your application on April 28, 2021.
Thanks

Wow!! Congrats on having your citizenship oath scheduled in less than a month! That is so soon! I see some being scheduled in March 2022, but you got scheduled so soon. Did you ever have success signing into ECAS? Did you get an in process date, and a decision made date? :) Just to help the rest of us have better idea of timing.

So I re-send the form, however something changed, and not for the better:
my application number is 10 characters, It was fine a few weeks ago but now the automatic form is telling me it should only be 7 digits...
So I had to click "I do not know my application number" , put the UCI, then in the free text area I still added that full application number but I am beginning to worry that they either A) messed up an update on their form or B) filed me in incorrectly?

Do any of you have an 7 digit application number or is it longer?

also the response time is now 5 business days (up from 3, though it s been 2 weeks since my initial query...). More waiting I suppose.
Congrats on everyone who got their oath date!

I think they're asking you to type only last 7 digits of your application number. Mine starts with "C00" plus 7 digits. So all together it's 10. In my experience certain government systems only uses the numbers not alphabets. For example if your Ontario health card number is 1234567890AB the system will use only numbers not the last two alphabets.

That's what i think. Correct me if I'm wrong.

right, well the help sign does say it should be just 7 though and only full digits which is a bit odd. Worst case i have no answer next week and I ll retry with those 7 digits
